The items I purchased were much larger than pictured online. When I tried to return them I have had a very difficult time getting a response and have waited almost a week and still have not received a shipping label to return my purchase. I am not satisfied with the customer service at all. All I want to do is return my unused tracker and collar and that seems like it won’t happen anytime soon.

My dogs have escaped a fenced yard several times by climbing or digging. Each time Whistle did not let me know for several minutes that they were out of their safe place. The last two days, I saw them at least a quarter mile away and when I looked at the app, it showed them at home, so I couldn't turn on tracking. When I was finally able to turn on tracking, it took over 5 minutes to update location. I live on a main road where cars drive fast. I had a dog that was hit and killed in front of me in September. I need to know immediately if/when they leave the property. Yet at the same time, I'm often notified in the middle of the night they have left, when they are right beside me (and I have a wi-fi extender as the recommended by Whistle). Today they dug another hole and escaped, and thankfully I caught them both after about a half hour, no thanks to their devices. One dog's Whistle had snapped off the holder and is lost. This is the second Whistle lost due to cheap construction. This Whistle was purchased around 6-7 months ago, yet they refused to replace it, stating they do not cover lost Whistles. Just a month ago, my other dog's Whistle Go Explore broke off the special collar I purchased to house it. Not covering lost Whistles, yet selling users an expensive product with a cheap piece of easily broken plastic to hold it, is quite the money maker for them I imagine. I'm spending hundreds of dollars and getting no peace of mind. * No timely accurate escape notifications. * Many false notifications. * GPS tracking shuts off. * Turning on tracking takes several minutes. * Product breaks off housing attachments, whether snap on, or twist on collar. * The app has several shortcomings too, such as trying to create safe places and points will not move, or not showing health data. When I called and spoke to a rep this time, I was told this is the limitations of the technology. I work for a pet shelter organization and keep trackers on all my dogs and fosters. Rescue dogs are prone to try and escape. I had previously recommended this product to all the pet owners and adopters I knew, because of my experience with escape artists. At the time I recommended the product, it seemed to work well. But in recent months it has failed numerous times.

It was hard to find of the information I was looking for. Like an does the collar look like, is it good for cats, how much does it weigh? Things like that.

Our dog “Honey” is wonderful foster dog that we adopted a year ago. She is extremely afraid of thunder, fireworks, gunshots, etc. honey had cleared our 5’ fence in all cases, the last time with an 8’ leash attached. Since purchasing Whistle she has escaped twice and both times she was in custody in less than an hour using whistle’s excellent tracking ability. It’s accuracy is great. Also the other features, lot lines, notifications, and many others are very useful. Thanks for a great product. Lj Adams

The new device is a very poor substitute as a replacement for the previous version. All I want is GPS tracking and this model keeps tracking my dog in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean... Don't buy it!!

I like the GPS portion best of all, as I would hate to lose Cogar. And he is a runner! The wellmess feature is a nice addon. The employees are dedicated workers, pleasant and go out of their way to please. A great product.

Whistle has been a great advantage for a dog with maximum wanderlust and a desire to swim with every tuber, kayaker and canoeist that passes by on the river. I’ve learned his routes and can now provide chauffeur services that are the envy of every dog passing by on the way home. He knows when the LED flashes, it’s time to come home.
