We do a lot of WatsApp broadcasts for new skincare drops and WhatChimp makes it super easy to just set up a compaign and push it out. Read rates are crazy good compared to email, like 80%+ on most sends which honestly surprised us at first. Been about 4-5 months now and its become part of our daily routine at this point. Analytics dashboard gives you everything you need without overcomplicating things.

After using it for a while, it has become one of those tools we do not think about much. It just sits in the background doing its job. We log in, talk to our customers, log out, and things feel under control. That is exactly what we wanted from a platform like this.

The customer service is non existent. After months of me flagging the same Zapier integration issue, they never followed up despite me regularly messaging and arranging calls to fix, each time they asked me to repeat my issue. Ironically, even their client call reminders has errors in it. I would give Whatchimp 0 stars if I could. Absolutely awful. After searching around, I’ve found a CRM with WhatsApp capability with a simple integration — Update…the founder offered a refund if I removed this honest and accurate review. But they’re two separate things. A refund is the only solution to poor customer service. Editing or removing a poor review must never be a condition of a refund. I owe it to people considering this product that they know the business they’re considering working with. Trust me. A waste of time and money

TLDR (sequence of events) • Review was posted • I reached out immediately as the founder and offered help • Help was declined and I was asked not to contact further • A refund was then requested while the review was to remain public • I explained that a refund requires the matter to be closed as resolved • At that point, a threat was made to publicly frame this as a bribe if a refund was not issued Response from the founder (updated for clarity): I’m Anant, founder of WhatChimp. I’m updating this response to reflect the full context after the review was edited. When this review was first posted, I reached out personally within minutes. Not through support, but directly as the founder. I acknowledged the frustration and offered to personally investigate the Zapier integration issue end to end so it could be properly resolved. That offer of help was declined, and I was asked not to continue contacting. The conversation then shifted to a request for a refund, while it was also made clear that the public review would remain permanently in place. From my side, a refund represents a matter being closed as resolved. Resolution requires willingness from both sides to engage and to close the loop. When this position was explained, the refund discussion was later framed publicly as a bribe. I’m noting this calmly so the sequence and meaning are understood accurately. I regret that this experience did not meet expectations, and I regret that we could not arrive at a constructive ending despite immediate founder involvement. I stand by how this was handled and by the written record of our communication.
I love its ability to create chatbots that don’t just answer questions but actually feed structured data into our systems. For one of our campaigns, the bot asks three qualifying questions, checks the answers, and then sends everything through a webhook into n8n, which assigns a salesperson and sends an internal Slack alert. From the outside it looks like a simple WhatsApp chat, but backstage it’s doing the work of two people.

I love its ability to create different chatbots for different parts of the business. We have one flow for new leads, one for existing customers, and one for service issues, and they all end up in the same inbox with clear tags. Agents know exactly what they’re opening before they even reply. It keeps everything moving without making us learn ten different tools.

We mainly needed something to handle support queries from our Shopify store and this did the job well. Order status, refunds, delivery updates – all in one thread instead of scattered emails. I do wish there were a couple more “ready-made” flows for ecom so I wouldn’t have to think about the logic, but once we set them up they’ve been running fine.

I handle digital marketing for a clinic and this platform made appointment reminders ridiculously easy. We set up simple flows for booking, rescheduling and follow-ups, and patients actually respond. The staff loves that all chats are in one place instead of three different phones on the reception desk
