About WeatherPromise
WeatherPromise is weather protection for trips and outdoor plans. If the weather meets the set conditions, you get paid automatically. For as long as people have traveled, the weather has had a say in where they go, when they go and how the trip turns out. We think it shouldn't get the last word. How it worksAdd WeatherPromise when you book with one of our travel partners, or buy it directly at weatherpromise.com.Before you pay, you see your offer in writing: how much your payout will be, how many rainy days count, and how much rain makes a day rainy. These conditions are set for your dates and exact destination. If the rain crosses that threshold, you get paid automatically. You don't file anything, you don't send proof, and you still get to go on your trip.Who measures the weatherRain is measured where you're actually staying, using official, independent sources like NASA, NOAA and national weather services. The same data decides every payout. For travel brandsPartners add WeatherPromise to their booking journey. It helps travelers commit to the dates and destinations they want, which can mean more bookings and fewer cancellations.RecognitionNamed one of the TIME100 Most Influential Travel & Tourism Companies of 2026.Common questionsIs WeatherPromise the same as a weather guarantee? In the US, you may see WeatherPromise described as a weather guarantee.Do I need to file a claim? No. If the weather data shows that the conditions of your WeatherPromise have been met, we email you to ask how you'd like to be paid. Once you choose, everything else is automatic. When do I get paid?Within 2 business days.Do I still go on my trip?Yes. WeatherPromise doesn't cancel or change your booking.Go to WeatherPromise
