Loss of my son and family caretaking
After spending the last couple of years being care taker to my husband with his surgeries and my son who was battling cancer. Helping him thru treatments, staying with him to prepare meals so his wife could continue to work and my two grandchildren could keep up with school. After my son passed, my stress grew and I gained a lot of weight. I was bloated, irregular bowels, and a bad hip on top of it all. I started with Monique who was very supportive and listened well. I started the program before holiday time, so that was difficult and then in Jan, I had my hip replaced. Trying to keep on track with all the supplements and diet plan was very difficult. I hung on and with Monique’s support I was able to move forward. I lost 24 pounds, I was able to exercise more which really helped. I feel now I am in a position to keep my diet going, always making good decisions and better food choices. Thank you for a very good experience Barb

Barbara, thank you so much for sharing your story with us 💙 First, we are deeply sorry for the loss of your son. The amount of love, strength, and care you gave your family through such an unimaginably difficult season is evident in every word you shared. Choosing to begin caring for your own health while navigating grief, the holidays, and a hip replacement took tremendous resilience. Losing 24 pounds and becoming more active are incredible accomplishments, but we’re especially happy to hear that you now feel equipped with habits and knowledge you can continue carrying forward. We’re so glad Monique was able to be a steady, supportive presence throughout it all. Sometimes progress simply means continuing to put one foot in front of the other, and you did exactly that. Thank you for trusting Monique and the Vidal team during such a significant chapter of your life. We’re honored to have been part of your journey and are wishing you continued strength and healing 💙
