Veteran DD214 is a private document retrieval service. We help veterans and their families get a copy of a DD214 discharge record from the National Archives without having to fight through the process alone. The most important thing goes first: you can request these records yourself, for free, directly from the National Archives. We publish a step by step guide on our site showing exactly how to do it. We are not affiliated with the VA, the National Archives, or any government agency, and we never imply otherwise. A lot of companies in this category blur that line. We decided not to build a business that way. Most people who hire us have already tried on their own. They started an eVetRecs request and got stuck, or mailed an SF-180 and heard nothing back for months, or they are a spouse or adult child handling a parent's funeral and burial benefits who did not know a DD214 existed until a funeral director asked for one. That is the moment we are built for. We prepare the official paperwork correctly the first time, submit it, handle the follow-up questions the archives sends back, and deliver the record through an encrypted link instead of a plain email attachment, because a DD214 carries a Social Security Number on it.Pricing is a flat fee, posted publicly before you start. No memberships, no upsell pressure, no surprise charges. We email a status update every two weeks whether or not there is news, because the silence is the part people hate most. Typical timeline is 8 to 12 weeks, which is set by the archives and not by us. Every order includes a 120-day money-back guarantee.

I already have my DD214. The way I read your advertisement was you were going to send me the explanation of all the codes on my DD214 to explain to me what they ment. Like the medical codes for my time in Hospital or 2 days lost time.

Received my service record in a very timely manner. It wascomprehensive and very accurate. My only suggestion would be to have the records in correct chronilogical order. Some jumped back & forth between years. Otherwise, everything was great!!!
