Anytime I have been on hold it is for an unusually long time. There are always a minimum of 9 people ahead of me.

Beware Vector Security agent posing as an ADT agent! They called my home on Friday (6/4/2016) saying they would be in my area changing out key pads that are older than three years old and upgrading systems. They even knew what my monthly payment to ADT was and that they could reduce my monthly cost. Sounded good and I made an appointment for Monday (6/6/2016) for service. Monday morning the "manager" called see if service could be earlier than arranged and confided that the tech was from Vector Security. Big red flag! Called ADT, they don't know how Vector got my account info,but ADT legal is looking into this. Avoid a company that resorts to this sort of shady sales practices. They lie!

Expensive. Wanted to add a few windows to my door scurity. Told it would cost $60 per window just to install. If you are getting my $50 per month, you would hink insallation of services would be free. Cannot wait to switch.

I'm not sure if my house is being safeguarded adequately. On very rare occasions I've accidently tripped the alarm, but immediately entered my code to disarm the system. There is no call back from Vector to ensure that all's well, which makes me wonder if anyone noticed that the alarm had been tripped. I would make a switch from Vector if it wasn't so inconvenient to do so - and if I thought I'd get better attention and service from another security provider - which I probably wouldn't.

When a false alarm is triggered, we receive a signal that indicates no true emergency exists, therefore we do not dispatch help to your location. This process helps ensure emergency resources are reserved for true emergencies, reduces false alarm dispatches and saves valuable human and financial resources. Additionally, we understand you have options when it comes to security providers, so we strive to differentiate ourselves from our competitors through exceptional customer experiences and added value. The security system was in my mom's name, she passed away. I made an appointment to review the system and change the account name to mine. The rep was great and knowledgeable, I like the email notification, etc., the system is fine. But the next bill came and it was in my mom's name, and this satisfaction survey came in her name. I only hope that this is an isolated incident and not reflective of a careless corporate attitude that would Impact the surveillance and security of customers' properties.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that the bills are still being sent under your mom's name. We will send your review to your branch to get this corrected. Rest assured, this is an isolated incident and in no way affects the monitoring of your alarm system.
Central monitoring called me while I was in the bathroom. I called back within a minute and they had already called the police. I was told there was a signal that they could not identify. I told them I was in the house and the panel was a steady green. While speaking to them the police showed up and were not happy that I was home and they were called. I asked central monitoring to figure out what was wrong and call me back. They never did. Therefore, I am not pleased at all. In addition, they left a message on my backup's number. Whoever made the call to them they had to listen to the message several times as the person was inarticulate.

Thank you for your review. While we have procedures in place to prevent false dispatches, we recognize that time is of the essence during an emergency. Because we were not able to identify your alarm, we erred on the side of safety and used our best judgment to dispatch help to your location.
When I called and ask for help to put my carmers on the computer I couldn't get anybody to help me.I would not recommend them.They told me that they would send out a text and it would cost me 100.00 a hour I think it's over charged
