From the beginning it was great, until it wasn't

From the beginning it was great working with Revolution Solar. Customer service has always been amazing. Any question or issue were always addressed and handled in a quick manor. Now the issue was minor and that was a scheduling issue for our preliminary inspection, we also had to reschedule install due to extreme heat but thankfully the heat broke quick and they were able to get right in and get it done. The crew was awesome. They were courteous about the property and clean up was like they weren't even here when they were done except that we have SOLAR panels on our roof :) They explained everything to me before they left. Our installation was less than 8 hours from electrical to install of the panels. I'm hoping I can talk more people into getting solar and referring Revolution Solar to them for sure. Well more than 4 months have past since this review and we are still NOT hooked up....... It took 1.5 months for our first inspection......it FAILED due to wires toughing the roof. We thought no worries they will certainly get repairs done and get us up and running within a month at least right? Well after 2 weeks of not hearing anything I decided to call Revolution Solar to see where we were sitting with repairs, well to my suprise, they didn't know we had failed and there were no plans to get us on the schedule for repair, again we thought no worries just a miscommunication right? So Aug 31 we were installed!! 1st inspection was oct 16, repairs were finally made Nov 27......are we up and running yet? Well we are NOT as of today Jan16, 2024. I've made several phone calls to several people and finally have a "contact" person as of Dec. I have called this person on many occasions trying to figure out when our next inspection will be. We've been told he is working with the higher up people and getting a fire lit under them to make sure we get up and running....I don't smell any smoke from said fire.....We decided to start this project in June of 2023. We were told from start to finish (up and running) would be approximately 90 days, well we are 4.5 months PAST those 90 days. We are also not sure if we are eligible for the federal tax credit now since we are not operational. Did we just make a $43,000 MISTAKE?? Not only are we paying on the solar, we are still paying for our FULL electric bill. Will our solar ever be up and running? As of today Jan 16 we now have yet another NEW contact person( only the 4th person in 4 months), the obvious excuse now is since the storms we had in the area have pushed back a possible inspection date. I truly hope if you are to choose Revolution Solar that your experience is 100X's better than ours is.
