Sorted my problem very quickly, would recommend software.

I lost my data nearly completely. Months of work were gone. But EaseUS engineer helped recover all of it. Very friendly, patient and competent service.

I changed computers and asked for a reset of the license, all correct and fast

I requested support for a licensing issue and they answered our questions perfectly. The problem was resolved very quickly.

Their site states in MULTIPLE places that the Data Recovery software will work with SSDs. I was unaware that the TRIM command makes data deleted on SSDs completely unrecoverable and is enable BY DEFAULT, but EaseUS doesn't tell you this (except when you ask for your money back). The software stated it found 15.xx GB of data but nothing "recovered" was usable. The software itself, which can tell the type of disk you're scanning (as any basic software can), makes ZERO mention that the data likely won't be recoverable before you buy the Pro license. When I asked for them to honor the 30-Day Money Back Guarantee within about 30 MINUTES of purchase, they refused to honor it because the data was on an SSD. Claims of data recovery on SSDs is pure snake oil and their money back guarantee is a bait and switch.
