Universal YumsReviews of universalyums.com

Shady company. The gift sets are clearly marketed as short term subscriptions. As soon as the 6 month subscription ended they continued charging month to month without any notification. It took me months to cancel, and it was only after going back and forth over email for a months. Multiple times I was told my subscription had been canceled only to find another delivery the next month.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Universal Yums. I originally purchased a subscription as a gift and experienced multiple issues, including shipping problems and repeated boxes. When I renewed the subscription, the first boxes received were the same countries and many of the same items we had already received the previous year. Had I known this in advance, I would not have renewed. I contacted customer service in January to express my concerns and requested a refund for the remaining subscription period. Instead of addressing my request, I received responses explaining why they repeat boxes and was offered an additional box. Months later, my subscription automatically renewed. I immediately contacted Universal Yums and requested that the subscription be canceled and that my renewal charge be refunded. Rather than directly addressing my request, I received unrelated responses and was eventually told to cancel the subscription myself through the website. My frustration is not just with the repeated boxes, but with the lack of meaningful customer service when I repeatedly asked for help. I felt that my concerns were dismissed and that my requests for cancellation and a refund were not properly addressed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Universal Yums.

They changed the recipe on the Kourabies. They used to have a 5 star cookie, Now they are good but before they were great. They did answer my email quickly. I will buy this again as they are still the best in the market.

The monthly subscription is very misleading. Make sure you read the small fine print before purchasing the one time purchase option. Now I am stuck with four month of pre paid boxes that I never signed up for.

The boxes you send are cheaply done and product and customer service is absolutely Horrible. This company is a scam

First 2 boxes came within 4 days of each other. Their Customer Service does not care.

Low quality ans small amount for the price Scam

Their support is beyond useless. They can't even accomodate basic requests like pausing because of travel. The past three boxes we've received have been terrible and very badly curated. Greece was literally half a box of breadsticks. Brazil was literally all the same brand of cheap sweets in different flavors. They kept talking about how Brazil would be full of chocolate, but the only real bar of chocolate in there was white chocolate with no cocoa. Pathetic. Don't waste your time with this.
