I have been using United World Telecom for 2 years, it works great and I would recommend using their services. Regards HB

I’m not giving them 1–2 stars because their service works as advertised and the price is competitive. However, I feel compelled to leave a review because I’m not thrilled with a few things: Discrimination if you aren’t a business. The pricing for business and personal use is the same, yet they wouldn’t even answer some of my questions because I wasn’t a business. Once you are a business and can prove it, they treat you better—including assigning you your own account manager. I actually set up a business just to avoid being discriminated against (and I had other personal reasons for doing so as well). My advice: if you’re a personal customer, maybe look elsewhere unless you’re okay with being discriminated against. They threatened to disconnect my service because I wasn’t a business and was “too pushy” for asking to pay for a whole year—something they say is only for businesses. As a personal customer, I was told I could only pay month-to-month. I simply said I like the service and wanted to prepay for the year, and they responded by threatening to disconnect me, so I basically had to beg them not to. To prove you’re a business, they require a business registration plus a matching website address and email address. Beware if you don’t have all of this. Anyway, good luck to them. I’m moving my business to Zoom Phone, which isn’t asking me to prove I’m a business, treats me and regular people the same, and—based on my experience—offers better prices and services.

We are a long-time customer with phone numbers in the UK, Australia, Singapore, and the USA. Their service is terrific, responsive, and always professional. Thank you!

100% reliable, good support, flexible contract. Has been a great help for my small business.

Kath at customer service took the time to understand the issue and went out of her way to solve it. The control panel on the website did not work first time, but Kath found a way to manually solve my issue. Pleased with service overall. Thanks
