Took laptop in for sticking keys issue
Had a couple of sticky keys on my MacBook Pro keyboard. Took it in to see if they could repair them. Then called and told me I needed a brand new keyboard. $599 for the board, not sure what the labor would be. I declined the replacement, ended up watching a YouTube video and learned how to clean the under part of the keys with a toothpick and alcohol. Keys work great. My big question to ubreakIFix, you have these highly skilled techs, but they went with this huge replacement instead of a simple cleaning that would have corrected the problem. This lesson cost me $63, but I know this, I will never ever go to a UbreakIFix facility again.
