I just tried to book tickets on travelouts. I put my credit card info in, but instead of running my card they sent me an email saying my trip wasn't confirmed. They kept asking me to call them, but when i did (from Europe) I got a recorded message in a strange language, and definitely it was not a help center. They never charged my card, but overall it wasn't a good experience. And, going through the reviews here its obvious they have put a bunch of cookie cutter fake reviews.

Travelouts was easy to deal with, and I booked tickets through them. However, they did NOT advise me that booking with Frontier Airlines did NOT include seat assignment (costs extra) and any carry-on or checked baggage (again, extra costs). By the time the extra costs were factored in, it was more than the other airline options. So I ended up cancelling the Frontier leg of my journal and booked American Airlines instead. I got a "travel credit" with Frontier (which I haven't seen and probably will never use because of the extra fees). Overall I got what I needed, but it took extra time and cost.

F’n scammers took my money for flights used someone else flight voucher to pay for my flights airline canceled my flight due to fraud activity. Austin service is horrible he to you is crazy as hell when they the ones are in fault.. they better hope i get my $1000 back or it’s on. I filed a police report and have reported them to the airport and airlines are aware RUNNNNN FROM THWSW SCAMMERS

Charged me more than the quoted price. Had to wait a day to get tickets after paying increased price.
