Doing The Right Thing
In this day-and-age I find myself more often than not having to write concerning issues, complaints, and to express my displeasure. It is not often where I find myself in a position to write something expressing gratitude for a company stepping up and making things right. Toyota of Clermont recently had a service special on brakes that was very reasonably priced that I made an appointment to take advantage of. Unfortunately, when I went for my appointment, there was some confusion and contention concerning the coupon for the service, I was under the impression the coupon and cost was for the entire brake system, the service advisor stated that it was only for one set albeit the coupon didn’t specifically state that. I vehemently disagreed with the service manager, cancelled my appointment and wrote a complaint to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services who subsequently notified Clermont Toyota about the complaint. I was contacted by Clermont Toyota General Manager Nick Petrone who was concerned about the misunderstanding and offered to honor the price of the coupon for both sets of brakes. He took the time to speak to me to offer a very acceptable solution and accommodate me, for this I am extremely appreciative. I also appreciate the assistance provided by Ryan Smith for my appointment and the inspection of my vehicle and walking me through any issues or concerns I may have. And last but certainly not least I am extremely thankful to all of the assistance provided to me by Owen Brock Service Manager every step of the way, ensuring the correct parts were obtained for my older vehicle, providing me a rental car and keeping me abreast with everything. The three aforementioned individuals made this a much better experience with their professionalism and made me appreciate why I drive Toyota and why I will continue to use Clermont Toyota.
