Tim's ToastersReviews of timstoasters.com

I purchased a gently used 1953 T-20B toaster from eBay with the intent of sending it to Tim to restoration. From the start, he was extremely responsive and helpful. The overall process took several months as this is not a main job for Tim, rather a passion project. His attention to detail, thorough restoration process, and care to detail came through with every communication I had with him. We've had the toaster in use for several weeks now and couldn't be happier with the results. Consistent, even toasting. Quiet operation. No hiccups or issues. Thanks to Tim, I'm sure this toaster will outlive me.

My husband reached out to Tim to purchase and restore a Sunbeam toaster reminiscent of his childhood. His brother has his parent's original Sunbeam toaster, and Hubby wanted one too. Tim bought and restored a Sunbeam T-20-B with original manufacture date of 11/8/54. This toaster is beautiful and functional! It looks brand new; you'd never know it is almost 69 years old! Tim does amazing work and kept us well informed throughout the process. When the toaster arrived, it was superbly packaged to ensure no damage occurred during the shipping process. Oh yeah, and it makes perfect toast! Thanks Tim!!

The work is magnificent at a reasonable price! It is amazing that a toaster can be so many different things, a work of art, a connection to the past, a treasure box of memories, and ... a toaster... of unique design and function. Tim's work takes time; the wait is worth it! Have patience, and you will be greatly rewarded! If you get a chance to engage in an email conversation with Tim, take it! He's quite an interesting fellow - hard-working and deeply involved in his community. Thanks, Tim - to you and your Team for the revitalization of my T-20B!

Tim's Toasters is a fantastic company! A critical internal part of our beloved Sunbeam T35 broke. Tim has done lots of work to be able to replace the bimetallic strip with a new one. He did this work for us and we are back to REAL toast again!

My husband saw a news story about Tim and thought it was "so cool" that he restores vintage Sunbeam toasters. Hubby said that he'd love one of those toasters, but thought it would be hard to source one. Little did he know that I was planning on getting a toaster for his upcoming birthday! The whole experience of buying one of Tim's restored toasters was phenomenal. Tim was very communicative throughout the entire 5 month process and updated the status of "my" toaster regularly via emails and pictures. Tim's enthusiasm and passion for bringing old Sunbeams to life were evident in his emails and finished product. My husband was thrilled to receive a pristine restored toaster on his birthday and shows off the toaster to everyone to this day. 10/10 recommend! Thanks so much, Tim!

Had my grandparents sunbeam restored to what looks like to me, better than new condition. Amazing quality of work and a pleasure to do business with.

First of all, words cannot express how happy we are with the new toaster! It is MAGNIFICENT! The work Tim did to restore it is next level artistic craftmanship. He is amazing! The presentation, the box, the poster, the personalized notes are so very wonderful and thoughtful, they brought tears to my eyes. We have been in awe while looking at it on our kitchen counter and admiring it gleaming and sparkling. It was packed extremely well, and no damage at all. Well, we just tried it for the first time, following all instructions and it work PERFECTLY! The best toast we have ever had! Reminds me fondly of my childhood at the breakfast table. Tim, we do so appreciate your taking the time to work your magic on this toaster we now have! Thank you, Tim, you have made us very happy. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

Tim, you are one in a million! My Sunbeam is now better than brand new. Can’t say enough about the quality of work plus the outstanding communication you provided through the whole experience. All I can say is it was worth the wait. Thank you Thank you Thank you.
