I’ve had numerous recorders, never really knowing what to buy, kind of a gamble really, in the past. I was both surprised and pleased with my Tigerseu recorder, and the after sales support. It’s really no good just having one without support. When I have a problem and question, I’m treated with respect and not feel like an idiot, (like another company I won’t name) you guys have my business and I thank you.

I purchased some Tigersecu cameras a while back and originally used them with a different DVR recorder. In 2022, I purchased a Tigersecu DVR, and recently I finally set everything up, including remote viewing on my phone. Tigersecu sent the setup instructions by text, and — whoa — the connection process was surprisingly easy. Even better, I’m definitely not a tech person, so that says a lot! I’m now getting ready to purchase a 16-channel DVR for another location. Great products, easy setup, and a smooth experience overall. I’ll definitely be buying more equipment as time goes on. You’ve gained a future — and loyal — customer.

The following review concerns a TigerSecur DVR purchased in July of 2025 and a company rep named May. The above DVR replaced a similar unit from a different manufacturer. In late April 2026, the 2 monitors attached to the system went dark. After completing the usual checks and tests on my own and not being able to resolve the problem, I emailed TigerSecu Customer Service on Thu 30 Apr at 3:22 PM EDT. While I purchased this product based on good reviews and my own positive research, I had no previous experience with their customer support. Nevertheless, I was hopeful I’d hear back at least by the following week. To my surprise, 30 minutes later, at 3:52 PM EDT, May responded to my request for help. And, this was not an automated response, but one that thanked me for the detailed troubleshooting steps I had completed and asking for specific information about my system. We had three additional exchanges, all on Fri 1 May. The net result was my receipt, via email, of a pre-paid FedEx label to return my system (under warranty) to the TigerSecur location in CA for replacement. May is to be commended, not only for the prompt response, but also for her knowledge of the product and her ability to help me navigate the steps necessary to resolve the issue. No doubt this is a top-down culture that TigerSecur has fostered within their organization. Their level of customer service should be emulated by all. THANK YOU !!

We have purchased several of these DVR‘s for our business as well as Home. Every single one of them has broken within a year requiring replacement of hard drives or complete replacement of the entire system. They are very unreliable and even though you are getting a better price point than some of the higher quality ones there’s a reason why you are paying less. We have started dumping all of our DVRs from this company and switching over to another brand and do not recommend this brand to anyone that is interested in being able to have a system perform properly and be reliable.
