The 5 pillars is a great framework from which to hang all the metrics. It gives a good structure to make you think about how the different levers interact within your business.

I joined Ben's class because I wanted to have an introductory course that will be able to provide a thorough overview of all the key topics about SaaS. Ben's classes served my needs very well and I strongly recommend to not only people with some SaaS background, but also people like me, who need some help to lay out a solid foundation for further studies in SaaS world.
