Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re sorry to hear the experience has been inconsistent for you. Connection range can be affected by things like surrounding materials, grill or smoker construction, probe placement, and whether the Xtender is being used. Our support team will be reaching out directly to help troubleshoot this further. In the meantime, you can also review our range optimization tips here: https://docs.themeatstick.com/product-support/the-meatstick-faq/how-do-i-optimize-my-sticks-range Thank you again for sharing your experience.

Thanks for the feedback. What you’re describing isn’t normal. If the Smart Base isn’t turning on or unresponsive, go ahead and do a power reset. There’s a tiny reset button in the pinhole on the side of the Base. Press it with a SIM-eject tool or something similar. The Base should power on normally after that. If it still doesn’t turn on, or you continue to experience connection drops, please reach out to our support team at https://tms.fyi/help so we can take a closer look and get this resolved for you.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience, and we're sorry the process didn’t feel smoother. To clarify, your first message came in on April 6. After walking through a few standard troubleshooting steps, we confirmed the issue and arranged your replacement on April 15. We know testing can be a bit of a hassle, but it helps ensure we’re solving the right problem. To speed things up, we sent the replacement first and asked that only the stick be returned. That way, you could get cooking again faster. Otherwise, you would have had to wait for us to receive and confirm the return before sending anything out. Our return instructions clearly stated to send back only the stick and not the charger or any other accessories. It also noted that if additional items were included, a $10 shipping and handling fee would apply to cover the cost of returning them. Since the base was sent in error, that fee was applied. We're glad your replacement is working now. If anything else comes up, feel free to reach out. We're always happy to help.
