Be aware
Be aware! Once you reserve a property with this company, you will find yourself in a big scheme. After making the reservation, the property management company instructed me to complete an external verification process requiring me to upload ID, authorize a credit card hold, and execute additional agreements, including a NDA agreement and Rental agreement. I understand that my Booking.com confirmation disclosed a $1,000 damage deposit and stated that a rental agreement would be required. I am not disputing those disclosed conditions. I was required to authorize hold for $1000 deposit from my credit card and send them another $1000 via bank transfer. That makes $2000 deposit which was never disclosed. I was never informed that I will be forced to sign NDA! Given these additional pre-arrival requirements and my inability to review the agreements beforehand, I could not safely proceed with the reservation. Unfortunately, Booking.com was not helpful in resolving the issue and failed to address my concerns about the property’s unusual requirements. I was ultimately forced to cancel with a penalty because the property informed me that if I did not complete their verification process and sign their agreements, I would be reported as a no-show and charged the full reservation amount..
