The Heirloom BooksReviews of theheirloombooks.com

Just to repeat what others have said. Ordered a few months ago, chased it up, said it’s on its way, given a small refund. Still didn’t arrive. Chased it again… still no update. Email received to say they would give em a full refund. Hasn’t happened. Raised a chargeback with Amex. Avoid, total fraud company.

SCAM! Ordered my books December 29, 2024 and have not received anything since. It is now March 4, 2025. When I reached out to them telling them I was concerned my order had not come in yet they told me they were experiencing "courier delays" whatever that means. They did not provide a tracking number, I had to ask for one. When I did ask for one they provided one with a link I did not feel comfortable clicking after reading reviews online about how this company is a scam. However, I replied to them asking if the "tracking number" was for FedEx, UPS, or USPS. They did not respond so I took it upon myself to check the "tracking number" at all three sites. It, surprisingly enough, did not work. Pretty convinced this was a scam now, I disputed the charge with my bank. They then sent me this email. Keep in mind, this is AFTER I had told them I was uncomfortable clicking their link because I was concerned they may be a scam. They completely ignored that concern, something I do not expect any legit business would do. This was their email to me after disputing the charge with my bank and accusing them of being a scam operation: "Thank you for your email. We wanted to inform you that we've received a chargeback alert regarding your order ##### so the system automatically cancelled and refunded your order as part of our standard process. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us." I had my doubts that they had truly refunded me and believe they were just hoping I would believe them and tell my bank to cancel the claim before I realized they hadn't refunded me, so I simply responded: "First of all, I have had to dispute charges before and that is actually not what usually happens. The standard process is usually providing the item that you claimed to be selling. I have suspicions you won't be able to do this though since I already called you out for being a scam and you have not denied these claims. However, if by some chance you did actually refund me I will just wait for the refund to process. I have not yet received a refund but it usually does take a couple days to process so I will wait until I receive the refund in my account until I cancel the claim. Thank you for your time." Followed up with, "Also can you tell me why the "tracking number" you provided did not work when I tried it on FedEx, UPS, and USPS's website?". I have not heard back. UPDATE 1: I just received a "refund" email from Heirloom Books the morning of Wednesday, March 5 after leaving several negative reviews. How odd. I thought they had ALREADY "refunded" me yesterday??? Could I have been right all along? Could that have been a sham to try to get me to cancel my claim with my bank?? Could they be scamming people??? Also, why were they so quick to refund me when they had supposedly "already sent out a package"??? (with a tracking number that didn't work at FedEx, UPS, and USPS). Could it be that they never sent a package in the first place?? Still not closing my dispute, because who knows if they doctored this "refund" email as well. UPDATE 2: Upon further research, I have realized a couple things. For starters, they gave me two different "tracking numbers" one on January 1st when my package supposedly was "shipped" (although, let's be honest, we know it never was) and a different one when I reached out asking for a tracking number on Tuesday, March 4 (not realizing they had already provided me one). Furthermore, in the email from January 1st there are Chinese symbols. How odd, because my bank statement and their website says they are located in Wyoming. Actually, when you put the address they have on their website, 30 N Gould St. Ste R., Sheridan, WY 82801, it takes you to Moose Creek Traders, a convenience store in Wyoming. Why would this be? Oh I don't know maybe because they're scammers and using a false address. Also their "All 5 star reviews" on their website is bogus. I left them a 1 star review on March 4 detailing my experience and they have taken it down. They are, not surprisingly, filtering reviews to deceive their audience. Lastly, I, and many other customers (or let's be honest - victims - they are scammers) say they ordered their books in 2024. Their website states it was founded in 2025. How odd? How were they taking orders before their website was up? Could it be that they were using a different website before and it got shut down because they were scamming people and this is their new website? Interesting.

I placed the order and it never arrived. It's an absolute scam.

Complete scam!! I ordered in November 2024 and still haven't received it (february 2025). I've contacted them several times and they refuse to refund me. Do not order from them.

Worst company ever I ordered in November and haven’t received it yet and have asked for my money back several times but they say it’s already being shipped and the tracking number they give me goes no where

Placed my order on the 8th of December 2024. To date,12/2/2025, no response regarding the status of the books I ordered.

Avoid Heirloom Books – A Scam! I placed an order with Heirloom Books in early November 2024, and it's now February 2025, and I still haven't received my books. This company is a total scam! Every time I reach out to them for an update, they make excuses and give vague promises of "soon" or "we're experiencing delays," but it's clear they have no intention of fulfilling orders. I've tried contacting them multiple times via email, and each time, I get the same generic response. No tracking information, no apologies, and certainly no refund or resolution in sight. It's impossible to get a straight answer, and I feel completely scammed. If you're considering buying from them, DON’T. This is a fraudulent business that takes your money and doesn’t deliver. Save yourself the frustration and avoid.

My order was supposed to be delivered in time for Christmas which I placed on the 11th of December 2024. I sent follow-up emails requesting updates as I had initially been informed by the shipping tracking that my order would be with me on the 18th of December. However, it is now the 30th of January and my order has not arrived and I have lost my patience. While I had empathy for the busy Christmas period and did not necessarily expect it to be in time for Christmas Eve (despite being informed it would be) it is diabolical for Heirloom Books to not have reached out regarding my order. I received an email as recently as today asking me to review the product that I haven't even received, showing clear negligence to customer welfare as I have been informing you that my package has not even arrived. I am upset that what was intended to be a nice Christmas present has turned into having to fight for a refund, and I suppose I have this company to thank for it.
