I’ve been using this program for about a year. I started just incorporating the lessons into my class warm ups. I still do that but in addition I have added technique classes where each month I choose an area to work on. The dancers love the classes and I’ve seen their technique and strength improve greatly!

I paid for a year long subscription and was really under utilized. When I sent an email to the CS team about recommending exercise to improve a move that my daughter couldn't achieve, they only mentioned a list of things that was hindering her and was advised to check with her teacher instead of giving some exercises to help her with. I am quite disappointed with the CS reply.

Response from The Godfrey Method· Feb 21, 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share this. We are truly sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the response you received from our customer support team. That is never the experience we want for our members. After reviewing your inquiry, we understand that you were looking for specific exercises to help your daughter improve a particular movement. Based on the single photo provided, our team offered feedback on the visible limiting factors and recommended connecting with her teacher because, without seeing her move dynamically or understanding her full training background, it would not have been responsible for us to prescribe specific corrective exercises. Our intention was to provide the most helpful and safe guidance possible with the information available. When working from a still image, we are limited in what we can accurately assess, and we always want to ensure that any recommendations prioritize a dancer’s health and long-term development. That said, we absolutely understand how that response may have felt frustrating, especially when you were hoping for more direct solutions. We truly value your membership and your trust in us. If you would like to share additional context (such as video footage or more details about the specific challenge), we would be more than happy to take another look and guide you toward appropriate resources within the platform. We appreciate you being part of our community and hope to continue supporting your daughter’s growth in a meaningful way.
I absolutely love the Godfrey method!! I never knew what I was missing until I signed up! You want to work on leaps? They’ve got it! Turns? Yep! Everything you can think of! I have been a dancer my whole life ( I’m 19) and I’m just now finding my fullest potential. Not only am I able to progress at my level. I am able to go back to the basics and work with younger dancers!

What a wonderful program for Teachers and students - I love knowing that my instructors and myself are working on the same technique for a certain turn or leap or combo - the dancers have a chance to perfect their technique and accomplish their goals.

I am very happy with the on demand subscription service. I was able to create a custom playlist tailored toward my dance goals and am already seeing progress. The video instructions are very clear and would recommend to anyone looking to level up their technique.

We love the Godfrey Method! It's a great resource for our instructors and the customer service and response to questions is amazing! I just added another "seat" at my table today!

Amazing tutorials and lessons to help dancers learn skills and become stronger. We’ve just started a few of the exercises and have already seen improvement! It’s broken down in an easy to use format and you can choose short videos for days you don’t have much time, or longer classes too. Really happy with it!

Their on-demand platform is an incredible resource for young dancers looking to supplement their training with at-home instruction. My 11-year-old daughter enjoys choosing videos and creating playlists that target different skills she wants to work on. Everything is broken down by skill or focus area, with both short and long lessons, so it really fits many different needs. While they have plenty of challenging and advanced lessons, it’s particularly useful for younger dancers who need that step-by-step direction from an instructor to stay motivated (versus a written list of exercises to do, for example). Videos are done with an instructor who teaches and directs the exercises and lessons verbally (and with a student demonstrating live), and who clearly have a lot of experience teaching and communicating with youth dancers. We’ve briefly tried a few other video or online dance education resources over the years and haven’t found anything else as useful and intentional as Godfrey. I’ve also interacted a few times with them on the customer service front and found them to be kind and communicative with very good customer service. Their holiday-themed bonus videos are a fun extra, again demonstrating they know how to motivate their youthful audience well!
