The Farmer's DogReviews of thefarmersdog.com

We have been using farmers dog going on 3 years . We have had a great experience and Nova loves her food . I get notices of when it was charged , when they will deliver, and when it’s delivered so if i am out of town i can have a friend to pick it up and put in freezer.. very efficient!

Somehow subscribed without knowing it. Their system must disguise the subscription sign up pretty well.

OUR EXPERIENCE WITH FARMER'S DOG HAS BEEN POSITIVE IN MANY WAYS. OUR VET, NEIGHBOR'S, AND FRIENDS NOTICED OUR BEST BUDDIES HAD BEAUTIFUL SHINY COATS, NOT BEGGING FOR EDIBLE HANDOUTS. REST BETTER AND HEALTHY POOS. WE ALSO APPRECIATE THE CONVENIENCE OF KNOWING THE FOOD IS FRESH, HEALTHY AND ALWAYS ARRIVES EACH MONTH AS SHEDULED. THERE IS NO PROBLEM IF YOU NEED OR WANT TO CHANGE THE RECIPE OR DATE OF DELIVERY. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? DON'T YOU AND YOUR BEST BUDDY DESERVE A LONGER,HEALTHIER, MORE FUN TIMES TOGETHER? TOGETHER?

FD customer service is always quick to help me figure out my multiple pets. I love their chat option because it’s fast and efficient. I realized I was out of food for one dog that was accidentally deleted and Evan was able to quickly resolve the issue and get me food ordered ASAP.

I’ve used The Farmer’s Dog on and off for about four years. My boy gets bored of his food quickly so I do need to switch it up, but he has always absolutely loved the taste of their meals. He gets so excited for dinnertime, and he is a huge fan of their jerky sticks too! We unfortunately have to part ways now because he was just put on a strict prescription diet and can't have certain ingredients anymore, like sweet potato. I messaged them right as a new shipment was heading out to explain what happened. Even though it was already too late to stop the package from shipping, they were so understanding and told me I could just donate the fresh food to a local shelter or rescue so it wouldn't go to waste. Their customer service is unmatched. Anytime I’ve ever had a question or a minor issue, they reply within 30 to 45 minutes. You're talking to a real, caring person every single time. It never feels like you're dealing with a robot or emailing a black hole. I know some competitors try to talk down about them online, and I’ve seen the posts, but this is a genuinely good company that stands behind their service. They truly care about you and your pet and make the effort to connect with you. The food can be pricey, but pets love it and you know they’re getting quality food. Since we have a smaller dog, we're able to make it last a lot longer, and it saves so much time compared to cooking fresh meals yourself. You know you are giving your dog the best! I’m really sad to leave them, and I highly recommend them!

My son suggested we try Farmer's Dog for our six-year-old, low-energy Welsh Corgi, who had fairly suddenly become overweight (no medical issues). We cut out treats and changed his food to a weight-management Science Diet. After a year, he had lost only 2.5 pounds. After barely one month on Farmer's Dog, he had lost 3 pounds! He is doing extremely well on Farmer's Dog and loves the food.

We put our dog on Farmer's Dog several years ago to get him onto a healthier, lower fat diet. Recently, his IG issues have gotten to the point that the vet said he must go onto a prescription soy diet. They told us this a couple of days before our monthly shipment, and it was too late to stop. Farmer's Dog, credited us for the month, and told us to donate the food to a shelter or other dog in need, which we have done. They were so easy to work with, so kind about the issue, and accomodating. If the years of clean bowls was not enough to endorse them to anyone looking for a quality food were not enough, this level of compassionate, friendly customer service would be.

This dog food gave my dog pancreatitis and he passed at 7 years old. It is cheaper and much healthier for you to cook your dog their food. I do not and never will recommend this brand, I’d give it a negative star rating if I could. I’d rather smash my balls between two encyclopedias before I feed this to another pet of mine.
