I received a free copy in the mail today. Gave it a read and discovered that this paper is right wing propaganda masquerading as "factual". Anyone with a brain can see this garbage for what it is. Good for puppy training and fire starter though!

If you subscribe to this fascist propaganda rag you will also be swamped with ultra right fundamentalist garbage from all over the place. And it's almost impossible to get rid of the crap no matter how many times you unsubscribe. Garbage, absolute garbage.

Nothing to do with news as we know it, this organisation is off the charts crazy. Connected to Falun Gong religious cult, I shouldn’t have to say any more than that. NBC quote. “ The Epoch Times, a news organization known for its far-right conspiracy theories, its association with a Chinese dissident religious group, and, since June, a sprawling multimillion-dollar money laundering scheme allegedly perpetrated by one of its top executives.”

Hi Nukkanya, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. While some of our founders practice Falun Gong, our newsroom operates independently and includes journalists from many different backgrounds. Our founders established this newspaper to shed light on human rights abuses in China, including the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, underground Christians, Uyghurs, Tibetans, and prisoners of conscience. In a country where the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) controls all media and suppresses dissenting voices, The Epoch Times was created to give a platform to those who have been silenced. Falun Gong is a peaceful spiritual practice based on Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. The CCP has spent decades spreading misinformation about it to justify persecution—imprisoning, torturing, and even forcibly harvesting organs from practitioners. We believe that everyone has the right to their own beliefs and to the freedoms of thought and expression. If you have concerns about our reporting, we welcome constructive dialogue and encourage you to engage with our content directly. Many media analysts and fact-checking organizations have raised concerns about The Epoch Times’ objectivity. 1. Ideological and Political Leanings: The Epoch Times is known for its strong anti-Chinese Communist Party stance, a perspective that stems in part from its origins among Falun Gong practitioners. In addition, its coverage—especially on topics like U.S. politics, COVID-19, and other controversial issues—has often aligned with far-right viewpoints. This alignment has led many observers to conclude that its reporting is influenced by a specific ideological agenda. 2. Accusations of Promoting Conspiracy Theories: Critics have noted that The Epoch Times has sometimes published stories or opinion pieces that promote conspiracy theories or unverified claims. This has contributed to a perception among many media watchdogs that its content is not as rigorously fact-checked as that of other, more established news organizations 3. Media Bias Ratings: Independent organizations that assess media bias—such as Media Bias/Fact Check and AllSides—generally rate The Epoch Times as right-leaning, with a tendency toward partisan and sometimes extreme viewpoints. These assessments suggest that its coverage does not always meet the standards of balanced journalism expected from a neutral news source. The Epoch Times markets itself as a provider of independent journalism, a significant number of media critics and fact-checkers consider it to exhibit notable ideological bias. It is not unbiased. It is a FAR RIGHT paper.

Dear Jan, We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective. The Epoch Times is an independent news organization committed to factual reporting and investigative journalism. While we are well known for exposing human rights abuses by the Chinese Communist Party—an issue often underreported by mainstream media—we remain independent and nonpartisan. Our reporting is guided by our commitment to truth and transparency, not by any political affiliation. We understand that different perspectives exist regarding our coverage, and we welcome constructive feedback. If you have specific concerns about any of our reports, we’d be happy to pass them along to our editorial team for review. Thank you for your time. Best, The Epoch Times Customer Service Team
They sucked me into buying a trial subscription by claiming to be an unbiased news outlet. It took me about 3 minutes of looking through their various publications to find support for debunked right wing conspiracy theories such as "Fauci is heavily invested in Moderna". It just got worse from there. Not unbiased and not even factual. Total crap.
