Product warranties
I purchased a couple of Gaco roofing products from them and completed the projects with no issues. I like the products. I was not told ahead of time to pre register the products prior to disposal of the containers. I only learned of this when I went on the Gaco website to do so but did not have the batch #’s. I called the e.Coating.Store and customer service informed me that they do not register or track the batch #’s but I could have Gaco register them manually ‘ that it’s done all the time’. I called Gaco’s warranty dept and was told by the first person that he was unaware of how to do that and gave me the number of his supervisor who would take care of it. He was also unable to help and passed me onto my regional rep. He responded with his contact info and I sent him a detailed history of the problem I was having. He did not respond. I sent to additional follow up emails with no responses. I reached back out to e.Coating.Store customer service , again , detailing my experience and asking for further assistance and got no response. I sent a second email, crickets. While the material I purchased may be a good product, only time will tell, the customer service at both companies are unprofessional and abysmal or , even, non existent. Based on my experience so far they are simply about making the sale.
