The Career Expert ®Reviews of thecareerexpert.com

Scot is fantastic to work with! He is extremely professional and thorough. He put together a very impressive resume for me, with little to no work on my end. I was pursuing a job in a very competitive market, and ended up with multiple interviews, after submitting the resume that Scot created. Subsequently, I was offered my top-choice position. Worth every penny. Thank you so much, Scot!!

The Career Expert helped me tremendously. I needed to refresh and re-envision my resume and job application package in order to reach new career opportunites. Scot was there at the right time, and was focused and friendly with the tools and support I needed to launch my resume and job search.

After interviewing 4 LinkedIn approved Career Experts, I chose Scot because he walked the talk, but was very straight forward and listened to fully understand my career path and how to take it to the next level. First he set up my Resume Expert. Soozy is the best - she not only structured my resume but very clearly defined the exact process to follow so my resume landed in the hiring executives hands. Second, Scot schooled me on the reality of today’s market. He shared the 3 steps of success that must be in unison or my job search will take longer than expected with highs and lows. Third, He was there with me every step of the way. Worth much more than I paid! 5 Golden Stars. I landed the position that was perfect for me, my life and future. Long term.

I worked with Dan through the entire process. He took the time to find out where my career goals were and got a sense of me in general so we could set my resume up in a way that displayed my strengths well. Great to work with and well worth the time!

Scot was fantastic to talk with and had me paired with a great writer who helped me get my complex work history into a workable product and produced a great resume for me. Would highly recommend.

I was laid off 3 months ago when my company downsized in response to COVID-19. That means I have taken on a new full-time role; Job Seeking! And it takes up 80% of my day – it is HARD work. To anyone who has recently been laid off (or struggling for months like me) I would strongly suggest that you hire a professional “Career Coach”! I found Scot on LinkedIn through their Pro-Finder service. I was impressed by his experience as a corporate executive as well as his current knowledge of how job searching works these days. It has been a completely eye-opening experience! Even with his impressive background, Scot is humble, down-to-earth, and has always gone over-and-beyond to help me succeed. Thanks to Scot, I have a professional resume that recruiting software can read, and my LinkedIn profile is now getting over 100 views by recruiters each week! His professionalism, coaching, and guidance has helped and guided me through this terrifying experience. I am so thankful for Scot’s advice and support. I know my journey is not complete until I land my “dream job” but having him just a phone call or email away makes me feel confident. “I’ve got this”!

I really enjoyed working with Scot on my resume. He was extremely personable and very willing to help. He went above and beyond to take the time to understand the message I wanted to convey to future employers and helped craft my resume to an end product that told a story rather than just a list of my life experiences. He also worked in an efficient manner, was very thorough, and was glad to answer my questions. I would highly recommend working with Scot.

Scot was excellent in being able to write a new resume for me from scratch, he helped extract some of my best accomplishments in order to draft the resume that I wanted to have, and also helped me write a cover-letter to go with it. He also helped me with advice on future job prospects. On top of that, he is also a great career coach and adviser. I would recommend his service to anyone!
