I used INTUIT's IT's Deductible for years. All of a sudden, it's GONE. This has been a blessing. It's user friendly, gives accurate valuation and makes it easy to record all your tax deductible contributions. Highly recommend it.

A Good Alternative to Intuit's Discontinued ItsDeductible
I've used ItsDeductible to enter my charitable donations for many years. Here Intuit discontinued it, I wondered if I would find a replacement, and TAWO provides that capability for me beginning this year.

Really glad TAWO has been able to fill that gap for you. The ItsDeductible transition left a lot of people without a good option, and that's exactly the problem we set out to solve. Welcome aboard — looking forward to being part of your tax prep routine going forward. Jacob, That's A Write-Off

Due to a recent loss of a family member, I was responsible for closing her estate and had no idea how to track all her belongings for donation. Your website has been invaluable. I just hope the IRS agrees.

Best Fix for TurboTax deletion of ItsDeductable
Was surprised and angry that TurboTax had eliminated its built in utility “Its Deductable.” The current manual method for entering charitable donations into TurboTax is virtually impossible to use. Research into a replacement revealed about a half dozen choices and I evaluated each one. Some involved too much of a new learning curve, others touting AI functionality were “too smart for their own good” with bells and whistles that are impractical for the immediate task at hand. “That’s a Write-Off“ had the most practical, logical and intuitive design, to perform the task. At its core, it has a look-up database of items, a place to enter how many of each item whereupon it shows a value based on condition, which it then totals and tabulates. The final data has to be manually entered into TurboTax, but TAWO has done all the heavy lifting at that point.

Thank you, Neil — this is a really thoughtful review and we appreciate you taking the time to evaluate the options and share what stood out. "Practical, logical, and intuitive" is exactly the bar we set for ourselves, so hearing that it cleared it means a lot. You've described the core workflow perfectly — and you're right that the manual entry into TurboTax is the final step, but by that point the hard work is done. Really glad TAWO made the cut! — Jacob, That's A Write-Off

I was shocked that Turbo Tax discontinued "It's Deductible" on their app. I found TAWO as an alternative. I found it easier to use than the previous Turbo Tax product with many more options.
