Most prices are not any cheaper than Amazon or Chegg. Shipping usually takes significantly longer than estimated, which is frustrating when a book is needed for class. I also had problems trying to sell books since I was unable to get in contact with the buyer, and was unable to get in contact with TextbookX either. As such, I ended up losing money on the sale since I paid to have the book shipped and it got returned to me. Overall, it's a lot of effort for little payoff, unless the prices are significantly cheaper.

UPDATE: After posting, the company immediately got with me to find out order numbers, etc. I received my refund in just a few days. This could be a situation of poor customer service training, because it seemed that once I was finally able to communicate with someone that could do something, the situation was resolved. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY...DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM This is the worst textbook company I have ever dealt with. My daughter ordered from them, but the materials were not going to arrive until after a week or so into classes. She found the material elsewhere and tried to cancel the order, but they told her it was too late, but didn't process the order until a week later. She mailed the unopened package back to them as they directed in January. We have yet to receive a refund and no one seems to be able to do anything to get us our $200.

I sold two books on this website. I nicely took both books to the post office and sent them to the buyers. Both of the books got delievered one of them got delivered on february 1st and the second one on february 5th. Since then I havent received any notification of payement or anything. I emailed customer service but never got a response. Im afraid that I gave my books away for nothing.

The entire experience of purchasing my text books was enjoyable. The follow through leaves something to be desired. I ordered 2 books through textbookx direct and 1 book through the market place 3 days ago. I received a conformation of shipment on 1 of the books from textbookx direct 2 days ago with only 1 item in the shipment. I am still waiting to even be notified that the other 2 books have been sent. I paid to have them arrive by February 3rd and today is the 28th of January. My classes start Feb 2nd. We will see if Textbookx comes through and if I will get what I paid for or not.

I do not like your services when it comes to the shipment of my books. I personally order a new book this semester and received a used book instead, Therefore I just had to order another new book for the same course. and now i have to wait another five days to receive this new book and you sent my son a book with no code in it for one of his classes and he had to re-order his book as well.... I will not use your book services for any other courses I attend in college...
