Techify Care LLCReviews of techifycare.com

This is a scam company misrepresenting that its support for HP in order to gain remote access to your computer from a fake HP site to fix printer. The are working from India, using fake names and telephone numbers, and bills your credit card for fixing fabricated malware problems. The positive reviews on its website are fake.

I think a scam operation working out of India has taken over what might have been a reputable but short-lived Georgia business. I thought they were tech support from HP, but they accessed my computer remotely for a connection problem that did not need any changes to my computer, despite the tech person’s gobbledygook. They tried to charge me $199 to clean up my machine. I asked for an invoice and then, when they wouldn’t release the screen, I did a cold shutdown and unplugged the computer. I am following all the steps chatGPT suggested to try to make sure they won’t have access to my computer again and had to change all my passwords. What a pain. I’ve reported it to the credit agencies and police. None of the US phone numbers are in service.

Johnathan was a great help

Very helpful technician much help I hoped to get him next time with my troubles.

Ivan Gonzalez was incredibly helpful and gave excellent customer service and tech support! I'm grateful he got my printer working. Very patient as well!

Two stars because my issue was ultimately resolved. I was referred to Techify from HP's support website to help resolve an issue with my printer not connecting. After 30 minutes of going back and forth with someone who was remotely working in my computer and trying to sell me a completely unrelated service, I spent another 30 minutes with a technician actually fixing the printer problem. I was pleased with the fact that my problem was ultimately resolved; however, at the end of the call, I was pressured to leave a 5 star review on Trustpilot, with my service technician actually selecting the 5 stars and submitting on my behalf despite the fact that I repeatedly said I would submit a (non-coerced) review. I think it's really shady that a technician who is remotely accessing your computer would select a rating/review on your behalf for you to submit. Ultimately I might have chosen to pay for the extra services if they hadn't been presented in such a non-transparent way, and if my time hadn't been wasted for a full half hour. And even despite that, I might have left a higher rated review if my technician had not taken steps to submit a 5 star review on my behalf. But ultimately, I would not use this service again, and if this is the type of vendor that HP is outsourcing their services to, I would reconsider buying an HP in the future after this experience.

Called for a printer connection issue and now I need a new computer. I'm very unhappy with their performance.
