Deceptive sales outreach disguised as a customer inquiry Someone contacted our store appearing to be a prospective customer and asked a routine question about our return policy. After we replied, he announced that he had purchased elsewhere because our response took two days—then immediately used that criticism to pitch TalentPop as the solution and offered to introduce us to his account manager. What appeared to be a genuine customer inquiry was simply a manufactured sales scenario designed to make our business feel inadequate and convert us into a lead. This was manipulative, dishonest, and an astonishingly poor reflection of a company selling customer-service support. I would never entrust our customers or our brand reputation to a company that considers this an acceptable way to acquire clients. Avoid.
