Had to call and sadly cancel my cooking class due to Covid in my party. Adrian was soooo helpful and made it so seamless and easy. I can really appreciate his service and will be booking another class. Thank you the incredible customer service :)

My 10 yr old took 2 of the kids series classes this summer in Boulder CO…don’t waste your money! They don’t have enough Chefs who can work with kids. The 1st week he took it, it was cancelled the last day so they never got to finish the week and we had to go back and pick up the cook book and apron…never got the 10% coupon to purchase something in the store. He was super disappointed. Tried it again…..He just went this past week to another kids series and after Thursday’s class in Boulder he was in tears as I came to get him and see what he made. Chef Debbie took over the class for the rest of the week starting that Weds. was very short tempered with the kids (it was obvious she only works with adults) and Thursday told them they cannot take any of the food out of the classroom if it was warm they had to eat it there. Mind you there is nothing on their website that says the children will not be able to take the food home after each class, which he had done that previous week in June and the current week up to that Thursday.  The kids were able to take food home after every class.. When I asked her about the inconsistencies of the rules she threw every chef in that store under the table and said they’ve all been wrong in letting the kids take warm food out of the class all summer 😡🤬 My son was so proud of the chicken, dumplings, and fried rice he made, he wanted his dad to try it when he got home and left in tears when he had to dump all the food in the trash. The trash was full of all the uneaten food that had been cooked. Some parents were just taking the food out of the classroom anyway as my son was crying, but that Chef Debbie was focused on us snd would not allow us to take anything out of the room. I complain to the manager told her I would like a refund for the last couple days of class because I will not make him to come back the next day, my son was super traumatized after this and wants nothing to do with cooking again.  I was told the main manager the store would call me back, Donna, but never received a phone call. Save your money find a better cooking program for your children! Sur La Table has major issues! We never received a callback from anybody at the store in Boulder as they said they would follow up with us. Horrible cooking classes for kids!!

I received my ordered bowl, well packed and boxed but broken. Chris in customer service had a replacement on the way in less than 5 minutes. Fantastic customer service!

Customer service was great. Chris answered all the questions I had promptly and was efficient as well. I'm a loyal Sur La Table customer and plan to continue.

If I could give the 0 stars I would. Just a horrible experience with their cooking classes. Four cancellations without any notice sometimes. Zero help as CS. There are too many other options to get good instruction. Just a really awful experience.

AVOID COOKING CLASSES HERE. Terrible class, terrible follow up, awful customer service. First, we had to share all ingredients with a couple we had never met before. They were nice people, but it was uncomfortable sharing, and for the cost of the class we got almost nothing to take home, including no recipes. There was almost NO actual instruction, and we weren't even given recipes in class. We were rushed, and barely got to do any actual techniques. The teacher said he would email the recipes, but it took 3 emails from me to customer service afterward before the recipes were provided, with no explanation and no apologies. Pre-covid I went to several classes here, and they were instructive and fun. After this most recent experience, I will never go back. Save your money and find a real Cooking class that isn't an ad for a bunch of overpriced kitchen stuff you don't need.

In January we purchased a $300 Breville coffee maker recommended by the store in Fashion Place mall in Utah. After 4 the timer button ceased to work. We called Breville and they sent us a replacement. This one keeps saying fill tank even though it has 8 cups of water. Again we called Breville and they said to dump the water and wipe off the sensor. After 3 times of having to do this we called back and they said there is nothing they can do since we did not buy it from them, we would have to go back to the retailer. Yesterday we drove back to the retailer and spoke with Anna, the associate. Her answer was that since the company was sold last year their is nothing they can do. All Sur La Table does is give a showroom to companies like Breville so they can sell their products. I had been a long time customer of Sur La Table and have spent thousands of dollars. So much for the so called premium brands and the premium stores to get them from. At least Amazon would have taken it back for an exchange. After posting this review, I was contacted by SLT Customer Service. After reviewing the situation, They provided the customer service I would expect and took back the defective Breville for a full refund.
