Hi Michael, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Each computer is custom built-to-order at our facility in Natick, Massachusetts. We do hope to decrease build times this year. Currently our standard delivery is 7-9 business days after receipt of order (your order took 9 days) and an expedite option is available to shorten the time to 3-4 days. The expedite option is $100 an helps defer the cost of air delivery of parts we may not have for a specific customer requirement. Thank you again for your review and thank you for your order. Hi Laurie, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. The item you recently purchased for your customer is a rarely purchased data acquisition module that we sell only once every 2 or 3 years. It is also a sole source part from overseas. The quote indicated a lead time of 4+ weeks - meaning 4 business weeks - because a) sometimes we don't know how long these items will take to arrive and b) the order coincided with the end-of-year holidays increasing the chances of delays. Factoring in the holidays we shipped in about 7 business weeks in this case. This is longer than we expected it to take. I apologize for that and we will try to set expectations more clearly than 4+ weeks, perhaps 4-8 weeks next time for an item like this. Regarding communication, we did provide 4 email updates on expected delivery after your order was placed. We emailed you on these dates: November 28, 2018 December 13, 2019 January 15, 2019 January 24, 2019 Again, thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We will try to set delivery expectations better on out-of-stock items in the future. Thanks, Matt
