Sun Country AirlinesReviews of suncountry.com

Sun Country cancelled our flight from DEN-MSP a few hours before the flight because they “did not have an aircraft”. The soonest they could rebook us was 3 days later, which they cancelled again just hours before the flight. So we missed our event and will never fly with them.

Everything went wrong and they did nothing to help. Just paid for price with no reimbursement.

Maintenance issue arose after 39 minutes on the aircraft. The announcement that the maintenance issue would take at least a day to resolve was announced after another 30 minutes along with the fact that our replacement airplane was coming at an unknown amount of time. Spend the money for an airline that does maintenance checks before you are on the airplane. I have 4 children with one who is epileptic and autistic. The inconvenience of this is beyond measure.

Flight was canceled while waiting in the terminal due to 'no pilot'. After 4 months of waiting they refused reimbursement of travel.

Sun Country canceled my flight, did not notify me, and as a result my family was stranded across the country and forced to spend an additional $1500 dollars to get home. Sun Country refused to do anything to make it right.

If I could give Sun Country a -10 stars, I would! They moved my flight a full 24 hours later without a notification. I only discovered the change because I was going onto the site to check in. I thought it was strange that I did not receive a notification that I needed to check in. That was when I discovered that they pushed my flight a whole day back! At first, I thought I was the idiot and reserved the wrong date, but luckily I took a picture of the confirmation web page when I booked the trip months in advance. They had no remorse. They offered no credit to a future ticket. Nothing. Now I will lose money on a hotel, car, and a tour that was booked. I have coordinated this date with three other people from around the country and Sun Country messed it all up and cost me extra money. They did this because they 'had no plane.' If they have no plane, then they should not offer the seats. And they should honor the sales they made. They should lower their fares to get the butts in seats if that was the problem. They have no accountability. Honestly, these airlines are like the legal modern-day mafia. Now that this current administration has taken away consumer protections, they are doing whatever they want and it is getting very much out of hand. I will never fly Sun Country again (and I fly them often - about four to eight times a year plus my husband and son). Shame on them for such poor customer service, underhanded business practices, and frankly a grift! #BoycottSunCountry

Everytime i fly with sun country airlines to go to Atlantic city (I've only been 3 times) there was always something wrong with the plane like a mechanical issue. Been deplaned for 4 hours. Waited to board the plane for 6 hours to fix a problem. It was the same plane each time. Also the mechanical issues happened both going to atlantic city and returning to where I live. Also i get theres turbulence and whatever. This isnt that. They couldnt control the plane. They kept going up and down. Now i have a dizziness disorder, i was sick and dizzy the whole fight. When they landed i could get out of my seat for 15 minutes.

Sun Country is the worst airline EVER!! !! My flight was canceled and they wouldn't refund my money to purchase another ticket on a different airline. My only option was to accept a Sun Country voucher. There is SO MUCH BAD going on at that "strategically incompetent" airline. The Department of Transportation needs to look into this!
