Completely unacceptable ordering and payment experience
I placed ONE order for 6 tubs of creatine. Somehow, SteelFit then generated a SECOND order for another 6 that I never intended to place. What makes this considerably worse is the payment issue. The duplicate charge went through on a different card that I had previously removed and did not have saved as my active payment method. I have no idea why their checkout system was apparently still able to access and charge that card after I had removed it, but that is extremely concerning. So instead of simply receiving the order I actually placed, I was left dealing with an unwanted duplicate order, an unexpected charge, and serious questions about how SteelFit handles stored payment information. This is not a minor inconvenience. Customers should be able to trust that pressing “order” once results in ONE order, and that removing a payment card actually means it is no longer available to be charged. I contacted SteelFit asking them to cancel the duplicate order and issue a full refund. I also sent a clarifying email to address the situation and request confirmation before anything was processed further. Instead of receiving any response or acknowledgement, I was met with a shipment confirmation for the order I was actively trying to resolve. The entire situation has been incredibly frustrating and has completely undermined my confidence in ordering from them again. Until this is properly explained and resolved, I cannot recommend SteelFit. A checkout system should not be creating unwanted duplicate purchases, and it absolutely should not leave customers wondering why a card they removed was still apparently available for a charge. One star.
