Questions are full of grammatical errors, the biggest drawback is that the test bank is too small, a student learns the answers quickly and you stop learning anything . The look/feel hasn't been updated in a long time. The videos are full of OG's who fail to give explicit instruction on test traps, but they do mention "make sure you don't fall into a trap" over and over again. This company is riding on its laurels from decades ago and hasn't done much to catch up to be current. There is no way they have a 95% pass rate. And the refund for a fail is predicated on high scores on the practice tests.

I purchased the online course for my SIE prep, and after getting a few videos into the course, I realized very quickly that I am not a good fit for the learning style of this course. I am southern, and this course is done by people who I assume live in NY or Jersey, and their voices and teaching style grate on my nerves. I called to get a refund after the first video or two, and was told NOPE too bad. Therefore.... you get one star. They could see the amount of coursework done, which was very little. I messed with it for 2 or 3 days. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Hot trash take your business elsewhere

Used the Series 3 Question Bank. Tried all of the bank, more than 900 questions. Was scoring more than 90% on every single test; Some questions have factual errors; Before the exam, tried their "Greenlight exam" which can only be taken once, recommended 10 hours before. More than 50% of the questions had absolutely NO resemblance to the 900 questions covered earlier. Ridiculous.

Studied for the SIE with STC. Incredibly Rude and sassy in emails. I am writing this review almost a year after I passed because I told them I would leave them a bad review. I asked simple questions in nice manners and they decided to respond in a personal, derogatory, inflicting and insulting manner. The course was absolute dogshit as well. I recommend Kaplan, Acheivable or literally a library book from the 1700s. They absolutely suck, the flashcards are horrible and do not even help. i learned more from youtube videos and AI than i did from the book. You should be ashamed of yourself, STC instructors. PLEASE DO NOT USE STC FOR LITERALLY ANYTHING.

The actual exam covered things not covered in the prep courses. Save your money and use someone else

Used STC for the series 27 exam. Good content in lectures and great bank of practice tests that prepare you well for the exam. They provide diagnostics based on your practice tests so you can know your weak areas to refocus on. They also have crunch time facts that were helpful for o review right before the test. I had previously taken and failed the exam using Pass Perfects study materials and thought I may have shown up for the wrong test; that’s how out of whack their prep program was for the actual exam.

Series 7 is way to dense and not enough detailed for the finra exam. It gives you the facts but not the details needed to apply it especially if you haven't had prior experience.
