Initial problem, but support handled it very well

I recently used StarShipDealers to buy several Star Citizen ship upgrades. Most of the transaction went smoothly, but one item turned out to be unavailable from the seller after I had already placed the order. Because the upgrades were intended to be used together as part of a specific upgrade chain, this created a bigger problem than simply missing one item. I also had a question about whether another delivered upgrade actually included the advertised 10-year insurance. StarShipDealers handled both issues very well. Support responded quickly, treated the case seriously, and made sure the order was not automatically accepted while the issue was being reviewed. They verified the insurance on the delivered upgrade and explained exactly how I could confirm it myself in my RSI account. For the unavailable item, they also understood that refunding only that single upgrade would not really solve the problem, because the surrounding upgrades had been purchased specifically to work together. They therefore offered to recall and refund the other affected unclaimed upgrades as well. That is exactly what I would want from a marketplace: problems can happen, especially when individual sellers are involved, but what matters is how the platform handles them. In this case, StarShipDealers were quick, transparent and fair, and their buyer protection process worked as I would have hoped. The refund is still being finalised, but based on how the situation has been handled so far, I am very satisfied with both the marketplace and the support.
