Sound is not as good as it should be for $5000.00. I am disappointed with the hearing aids.

I have had a hearing loss in the left ear since birth due to a physical defect. In 2006, I lost hearing in my right ear requiring a hearing aid. My first hearing aid was a Phonak with excellent service. The second hearing aid was a Starkey (Halo) battery-operated with excellent service. The current hearing aid is a Starkey (Omega) rechargeable battery. The audiologist is unable to control the noise reduction level. I learned today that the noise reduction level is controlled only for the hearing aid for the left ear where I am unable to wear a hearing aid. This is an obvious flaw in the engineering of the Starkey (Omega) that needs to be addressed. -Sandi Froese, McKinney, TX.

The Omega AI24 has great features but the connectivity sucks. I spend six days out of seven having to reboot the hearing aids in the charger, having only one aid connecting and turning my iPad off and on continually during the day. Up and down all day long I'm getting lots of excercise. Every now and then the connection lasts all day but this is rare. The features are great the frustration is greater. My audiologist tries to get it corrected. Should have saved the money.

Still have trouble understanding. Very frustrating. Most sound adjustments don’t help.

The first two weeks were terrible and gave me migraines. Since then the tech has been tweaking them each visit. I've been wearing them now for ten weeks and they are still not set up correctly. I normally take one out mid-day out of frustration. This is my fifth pair of hearing aids (first with this brand) and I've never had this much of a problem. I'm pretty sure the culprit is the domes. Each visit a new style of dome is put on, which is working for one ear. So I just have to be patient a little longer.

I feel misled. I was given to understand that my insurance company recommended Starkey and that they paid for half of the hearing aids. Now I understand that they literally had nothing to do with it, and I don't even get to apply the hearing aid expense to my overall deductible. Cigna referred Starkey, and I don't know why... Why would they refer me if they literally don't pay for any of it, and it doesn't count to my deductible. As for the devices themselves, I paid for the second device from the top, and it's...fine. Just fine. It's large, unwieldy, the volume increase stem broke the first week I had it, there's lots of feedback which I didn't have with my other hearing devices. So...not very happy. But I'm stuck with them. Good for Starkey, your marketing worked.

Equipé depuis 1 an de prothèses Starkey avec un excellent accompagnement d'Ecouter Voir..Le problème est une application qui bug continurellement; il faut désinstalle...réinstaller avec reconnaissance ou pas des prothèses. La note de l'application 2,8 sur 5 reflète bien la triste vérité.

Still can’t hear in restaurant and places that have a lot of background noise Disappointed in the new hearing aids for the money I spent!
