I had a fantastic experience working with Spivey Consultant Sam Parker. Sam exemplifies professionalism and her expertise was invaluable to my admissions process. Sam guided me throughout the admissions process, and worked with me to ensure that I was bringing out the best in myself in my applications. Beyond her professionalism and expertise, Sam is a fantastic person and was a joy to work with. I would highly recommend Sam Parker and Spivey Consulting Group to any prospective JD applicant.

Working with Sam Parker was a wonderful experience! She is incredibly attentive, detail-oriented, committed, and knowledgeable about law school admissions. I got into all my top-choice schools, and having Sam’s guidance and feedback throughout the process was invaluable and also made the stress so much more manageable. She is super supportive and at the same time pushes your application to its highest potential. Sam was able to answer all my questions about the admissions process and was dedicated to providing feedback on my resume and essays. She was always responsive, empathetic, and thoughtful -- I always felt that I was in good hands. I truly could not have asked for better guidance. I am so grateful to have worked with Sam. If you're considering working with Sam and Spivey Consulting, don't hesitate!

The recommendations that were made during the application process were always delivered considerately while still helpfully honest. I also felt my identity was respected and taken into account throughout writing my essays.

Nathan Neely went above and beyond in his role to ensure that my application was the very best it could be for submission. He gave thoughtful, specific feedback not just on my essays, but on the totality of my application. He helped me think through aspects of my application profile I had not fully considered and provided clear, careful guidance on how my materials would come together for an admissions committee. That level of detail and care made a real difference. As a below-median applicant, I will be attending a top 25 law school with a substantial merit scholarship and could not be more excited about my outcomes. I am confident that Nathan’s feedback helped move the needle on the success of my application cycle.

Erika Guckenberger hands down is the best there is at Spivey. Just to list a few reasons why: always understanding of your situation, super responsive (even on weekends!), very accommodating to time zone differences, gentle yet upfront about application improvements, overall a warm and calm voice to be around during the high-stress period of law school applications and waiting for decisions. If there is one Spivey Consultant I'd recommend over and over again, it most definitely is Erika. ASK FOR ERIKA.

Highly recommend working with Sam Parker. She has a wealth of knowledge on the admissions process and provides loads of insightful/useful feedback. As someone with an odd work schedule, I greatly valued her flexibility & willingness to make time. Her positive energy & attitude combined with subject matter expertise helps to make the opaque process of applying to law school less daunting. Highly recommend!

I was beyond fortunate to work with Sam Parker at Spivey Consulting Group. Spivey's resources were comprehensive, and Sam's guidance was exceptional and walked me through every step of the law school application process. I received fantastic results, and although I don't know how things would have shaken out had I applied without Sam's consulting, I am confident that every application, regardless of its end result, was submitted in its best form with my absolute best foot forward. And I believe my outcomes reflect that. Sam was--and as I imagine all of Spivey's consultants are-- constantly available, punctual, responsive, and always on top of things. And whether I reached out with an urgent question surrounding part of an application form, a final review of my third draft of an essay, or a vent email on my frustration with cycle delays, I always received a prompt response. Indeed, Sam helped advise me on questions I had about schools not even included in our contract. She went above and beyond to help me in every part of the process. Moreover, I was able to meet with her over zoom at any time, as much as I wanted. And trust me when I say that I made use of that! I also received periodic newsletter emails that kept me abreast of the stage of the cycle, any important shifts, and what to expect at that time. Beyond her availabiltiy and punctuality, she was empathetic, passionate, kind, relatable, and always honest. I felt like not only did I have a brilliant mind with insight into the process helping sharpen each part of my application, but also like I had a friend to talk to. That mattered just as much, if not more. Her help was invaluable, and I consider the amount I invested well worth it. Thank you Spivey, and thank you Sam. I truly feel so, so, lucky to have had you supporting me. I cannot recommend Spivey Consulting Group, and Sam Parker in particular, enough.
