Going into the law school application process, I did not have a full understanding of the level of nuance involved. I am so glad that I chose to work with Spivey Consulting, and specifically, Julia Truemper. Julia is so thoughtful and prompt. For me, as someone who absolutely hates talking about themselves, writing a personal statement is practically physically painful, and it really helped to have someone to give honest feedback and encouragement along the way. Having someone who could also speak personally to the application process was invaluable for my peace of mind through what ended up being a longer and more convoluted process than I initially anticipated. I remember Julia assuring me that "waitlist admissions do happen!" and, like most things, she was 100% right- I am now headed to my dream school in the fall, with a scholarship that I definitely didn't anticipate. I highly recommend working with Julia and with Spivey!

Working with Julia Truemper was amazing! She made me feel very supported and took the time to address all of my concerns. She was very honest, organized, timely, and constructive in her comments, which I appreciated. I felt that she went the extra mile and genuinely cared about my admissions results. I was able to get into a school that I loved with a great scholarship. I cannot recommend her enough!

Hi! I worked with Sam Parker, specifically focused on getting into HLS from the waitlist. I was a splitter, and Sam helped me with all my communications to the school and how I should position myself in my LOCI. I am incredibly excited to say that I got in!! I will be attending in the fall, and I can say with confidence that Sam's advising played a significant role in getting in, and she is a lovely person to work with. I can't recommend her enough!

I truly enjoyed my time collaborating with Nikki. I found her insights very useful and her guidance made the entire process feel more organized and streamlined.

Danielle was extremely insightful, leveraging her years of law school admissions experience to provide practical and strategic guidance. Her feedback was candid and direct, which I greatly appreciated, and she consistently balanced that honesty with unwavering support and encouragement. She also dedicated significant time to conducting mock interviews and helping me think through different ways to frame my experiences and goals, ensuring that my application materials and interview responses were both authentic and compelling.

I worked with Julia Truemper this past cycle, and she was so helpful throughout the entire application process. I'm so grateful for the time she spent helping me brainstorm my personal statement topic - something which initially felt daunting to me. She always got back to me quickly with edits and feedback that vastly improved my resume, personal statement, and optional essays. She was always there to answer any question I had about applications, no matter how small the question was. She truly made the application process so much less stressful. I would highly recommend Spivey, especially Julia!

Sir's support played a significant role in strengthening my application, and I am very grateful for his help. He provided me with guidance, support, and incredibly thoughtful feedback throughout the process of writing my personal statement.

Working with Nathan Neely at Spivey Consulting was easily one of the best decisions I made during my law school application process. From our first conversation, Nathan's calm demeanor put me at ease and helped quiet the anxiety that inevitably comes with applying to law school. He has a real gift for making a stressful process feel manageable. Beyond his steady presence, Nathan brought a deep wealth of knowledge about law school admissions to every conversation, and just as importantly, he kept it real with me. He was honest about what was and wasn't realistic given my profile, which I genuinely appreciated. There was no inflated optimism or vague reassurance, just clear, informed guidance I could actually act on. What stood out most was how genuinely interested he was in helping me put my best, most authentic self forward. He didn't try to mold me into a generic ideal applicant. He helped me articulate who I actually am and why I belong in law school. The outcome met my expectations, and I'm grateful I had Nathan in my corner throughout. I recommend him without reservation.
