As a college student in a dorm you want to keep it quite when you're studying (noise out) and less loud when you're partying (noise in) this does both. Please note you can hold it in a 1" height gap with duct tape if you have a hole that big and/or can't make modifications (like screws) into the door.

The guys at soundproof.com were very good to work with. They clearly explained the materials we needed (and did not need), and worked with us on some tricky details. Very kind and courteous throughout, and pricing was more than fair.

Very good customer service and very good product for sound control

For the past 11 years since I've moved in my new home, I've been troubled with a loud sound from my return air vent. The noise was extremely annoying and prevented me from hearing TV and other conversations. I recently discussed my problem with someone who told me there were products to prevent it.
