There was a lot of good and bad. The outlined guides for supplementals and essays paired with the back and forth edits were extremely helpful. However, the original “grading” of your application areas was very harsh and I was recommended to not even apply to my top school (which I got into).

My experience with Solomon was amazing. They created a thorough, detailed plan that left no stone unturned in the process. The essay editing was also amazing. They helped me take my essays to levels I didn't know I could reach. They were constantly holding me accountable to the deadlines and at every step in what is a rather confusing process, I knew what to do because of Solomon. I highly recommend them, I was able to get in to an elite school because of them.

Thanks to Solomon, our daughter got into her very competitive early decision school, which has a 6.5% acceptance rate. Solomon's strategic positioning and early guidance as to summer activities and extracurriculars made all the difference. Even at our private school, we were not given this high level of guidance. Our daughter got competitive internships and worked on a paper with a professor - and Carla led her through every step to getting these accolades. Carla also helped focus her on the things that mattered and gave her motivation to do her best. She was also always ahead of her classmates in terms of deadlines for writing the essays, resume, extracurricular lists, etc. We happily give our highest recommendation to Solomon Consulting. They are not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I overall had a great experience with solomon because my college counselor helped me edit my essays, made a schedule for me to make sure I finish all my supplementals on time, and gave me tips on ways to add to my activity list. Solomon really helped my daughter with her college essays. We kinda started late with them, towards the end of summer just before senior year started. I would encourage students to get started earlier and take full advantage of the services they offer. I plan to do that with my son. Even though we started late, my daughter still benefited greatly from the expertise of the Solomon consultants. They were very thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. I would highly recommend them.

Drew was an amazing counselor for my daughter. He always came prepared and made sure that my daughter had a plan in place with timelines. He made sure she was responsible to get things done and push them along. Very good blend of support and delegation.
