Overall love my academic advisor, great professors, felt mentally supported, emotionally, and every step of the way was worth my achievement

My experience at SNHU was great because the knowledge, skills, and research I gained were valuable. The support of the academic advisor and the guidance of the professors led me to this accomplishment.

My experience at SNHU was good one. SNHU has great and positive academic advisors, very professional and look out for you to succeed.

To be honest I never thought I would go to college, now that I have finished I want to go back. I miss the community, I also never got to thank my guidance counselor I want to. I will take the time out to acknowledge the amount of care they put into each student, now thats not to say they hold your hand the whole way, though if you have any conviction and dedication I feel this can apply to anyone. Discipline yourself and the rest of the world will discipline itself around you.

Well, the whole experience was great. Online, I am able to access my class as needed, regardless of where I am.

Extremely poor communication. With no notice my financial aid was cut to nothing, not even enough to afford a single assigned book on its own. When contacting financial services one person told me everything was fine and simply to wait it out, then come to find out there was actually a deadline I needed to get my issue fixed otherwise I was SOL. Financial services have merely shrugged their shoulders and tried to pass the buck onto me for believing what they initially told me. If you send your kids here it's very possible one day they'll simply have no access to aid and funds for materials/board and the university will just shrug their shoulders and put them on the street. Update August 2026: SNHU continues to string me along, student financial services takes days to respond and have provided contradictory information each time, I was then misled into registering for another term on the premise that my actual classes were still covered, come to find out they were not and are now requesting money out of pocket. Extremely unprofessional, even more so than before. Update 2 10/08/2026: Once again financial services misled me for weeks on end, ensuring there was no problem with my financial aid when in actuality there was, and that despite claiming weeks ago they were packaging the financial aid, when in fact there was nothing to package because they claimed that the last application was only good for a month despite nobody in financial services mentioning this ever across half a dozen emails i sent to try and ensure everything was finally in order. There is no way to reach a supervisor or any senior financial advisor and the most they do is promise a callback which never comes. After speaking with an advisor they instructed me to re-apply for aid a third of the way through the term, and who knows how that will turn out.

If you want a meaningless degree where you can submit AI for all assignments and still get a degree then this is the right place for you. If you're a faculty member who cares about ethics and helping students grow, DO NOT WORK HERE! They disempower faculty at every moment and never notify them of policy changes. They don't care about anyones well being, just the money. I have a 4.0 GPA as a grad student when I feel I've put in almost no work to earn it and have been a faculty member for years watching faculty be treated worse and worse.
