Hi Irma,--thanks for your 5-star review! We are happy to hear you are loving how easy the safety gate is to use. Thanks, Deanna at Smart Retract.
The products are working very well...and are everything we expected...these are being used to secure our 3 Large dogs on our lake house deck... surprisingly...the locks have proven to be critical to stop escapes through the bottom...believe me they have been tested...and they work very well...my only guidance is to have a metal option for the mounting hardware...just to add to the strength...I think you'd be surprised by how many would select this option...otherwise a fantastic product...

Hi--thanks for your review and for your suggestion. I will pass this onto our design team. The safety gate does have a push-out force of 200 pounds and it has been tested for that. So if you ever have any issues with the brackets, please contact our customer service at [email protected]. Thanks! Deanna at Smart Retract.
Vielen Dank.

We got a few extra brackets and now we can move our gates between inside an outside. It was a lifesaver to keep our 2 year old on the deck while Grandma and Grandpa social distanced on the lawn! #COVIDSolution Side Benefit: The gates and still working well and looking clean even though they have spent 2 months outdoors.

We love it!! We bought this for our deck to keep our 3 fur babies contained.

Hi Lisa--we love having you as a customer too! Thanks for letting us know how you are using your safety gate and for your 5-star review. Let us know if you have any questions. Deanna at Smart Retract
Great gate! We use them as a crate for our newly rehomed dog. They are low profile, barely see them. When we need to go out - instant corralled off area for our dog to be cozy and safe. VOILA! Pricey, but well made, sturdy. Our install was a little awkward only because of the our space constraint (old farmhouse), so I recommend you do a test run to make sure you have enough room to hook the ‘gate’ onto the receiving end. I definitely would recommend this, especially for small spaces. Would love it if these were made in a screen door size (wink, wink). I have a perfect spot!

Hi--Thank for the great review! Thanks for the suggestion also. We are looking at evaluating new additions to our Retract-A-Gate product line, and I will pass this on to our design team. However, if you are looking to cover just the width of your screen door, we can certainly help with that now. If you have any questions please contact our customer service at [email protected]. Thanks, Deanna at Smart Retract.

Super to keep small dogs behind while answering the door . Wouldn't recommend for small kids at the top of a stairs as too easy to break through!!

Hi--thank you for your 5-stair review! Retract-A-Gate is certified for use at the top and bottom of the stairs, has been tested for that application, and can withstand a push out force of up to 200 pounds. We take pride in our customer service so please let us know if you have any questions. Deanna at Smart Retract.
