When we became aware that our cruise had lowered the prices. I called to see what Smart Cruiser could do to help us. I spoke with an agent that said there was nothing they could do. I then asked to speak with a supervisor, who said she would see if there was anything Smart Cruiser could do to help us. She said she would be getting back to me in a day or two. I never heard back from her. Very poor service. If the supervisor replied, please post that email. I do not believe it exists. As I have already stated, the supervisor never responded to me. This email from the agent was before I had spoken to the supervisor.

Thank you for your feedback. It's always our priority to ensure guest satisfaction on service items within our control. Final payment for your cruise was due in August by cruise line policy. When you reached out to us in September regarding a new promotion the cruise line was having, we did contact the cruise line on your behalf. However, per the cruise line, the new offer could not be applied to previously made reservations. The offer was only valid on new reservations. Since we were past the final payment due date and within the cruise line's penalty phase, we could not cancel and rebook you with the new offer as this would have not been in your best interest. We have a record of the email sent to you with the cruise line's response to our request. Our apologies if you missed this important communication. While we do provide an enhancement directly from us with each reservation, we are still bound by the cruise line policies with regards to their promotions. We are sorry you missed our follow up to your request. Happy to provide you with the email that was sent to you on Sept 10th at 12:42 PM. We have no reason to misrepresent ourselves. The cruise line would not allow us to apply the promotion to your existing booking. The new promotion was for new bookings only. We have to follow cruise line policies. However, we did offer you extra value and provided you with extra value of $175. I have yet to receive a receipt of final payment for the September 16th Carnival Cruise from NYC to Bermuda.

We were not advised of port change in Japan. Cost us a huge runaround and $200 for a cab. Otherwise OK if you are American. If you're Canadian hard to get the Canadian pricing. Better dealing directly with the cruise line in my opinion

Thank you for your feedback. Completing the required online check in process with the cruise line should ensure you would receive notifications of any changes. We do strive to provide extra value to our clients by offering additional onboard credit on top of any cruise line offers. Even after the price of you cruise dropped after final payment and the cruise line would not make any adjustments for you, as a repeat client, we gave you even more onboard credit. We hope you will see the great value we have given you and continue to have us plan your cruise vacations

Thank you for your feedback. Our agents work a variety of schedules to cover all the time zones and to meet the needs of clients at all hours. Anyone of our agents would be happy to assist you when you call in to our center since it's not possible for our agents to be available all of the hours we are open. If you prefer to hear back from one specific agent, we will gladly take a message so they can return your call during their next shift. We take pride in providing great customer service. Please let us know your needs when we make your next cruise vacation plans and we will make the necessary notes.
We planned a family cruise to Alaska and wanted to pay a week early. They were not equipped to do that. Once we did give them final payment which included payment for our airline tickets, could not change our airline seats because the payment to the airlines took over a week. Not what I expected.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to learn you didn't have a smooth transaction. We would like to follow up with you directly to understand more of the specifics in your individual vacation. We do process payments earlier than when due if requested so we would like to understand what happened in your case. Because the air was booked through Royal Caribbean's air department, we have no control over that part of your transaction. Since we have live payment links and are available 7 days a week, we do want to learn why there was an issue for payment processing. We strive to provide excellent service and are disappointed to learn you didn't have that experience. We will contact you directly
Agents at Smartcruiser aren't the best at calling you back in my opinion. I doubt I will use them for any future cruises. They never even follow up to see how you enjoyed your cruise. From now on, I will use my own personal TA who cares more and will ensure everything has gone well.

Should not have to ask for an updated invoice after a payment is made or a reservation change is made- should be automatic. Also, any promotional onboard credit given by Smartcruiser should be clearly designated as refundable or non refundable- we should not have to guess....

Please don't hesitate to make that request when speaking to any of our agents assisting you at the time of service we are providing you. Our system does not automatically generate an email with each adjustment. However, we will take you critique and share it with our agents. We will do our best to incorporate asking if a guest would like an updated confirmation. The onboard credits we provide to our guests are an added value to be used during your vacation. Once we purchase those onboard credits for our guests to use, the cruise lines will not provide us with a refund. You should utilize those credits towards a purchase of your choice during your cruise. The cruise line will never refund the onboard credits we purchase, to a guest. Thank you for sharing what is important to you during your cruise purchase. We will learn from your experience.
