SLYNUMBERReviews of slynumber.com

I purchased Slynumber for U.S. use. I'm on the west coast. Straight away the "service" had difficulty connecting, and since it is designed to use data roaming, it would pull signal while trying to connect through my T-Mobile service, which was working fine until Slynumber started data roaming on it. I emailed Slynumber a good handful of times reporting the issue, and was told the Slynumber app was using the wrong APN and needed to use the BIX APN. Reinstalling and resetting made no difference. I repeatedly asked the same hugely simple question: what are the settings for the BIX APN, so I could enter them into my phone, save the new APN, and reset properly, which should have fixed the problem. For the month of communicating I got emails saying the "next level" of customer service would respond shortly. Wash, rinse, repeat. They never did. I demanded a refund, and they did provide one, but only after a strong demand. SLYNUMBER: GET SOMEONE WHO CAN ANSWER THIS SIMPLE QUESTION AND POST THE INFO ON YOUR WEBSITE AS PART OF YOUR FAQ. You said it is a U.S.-wide APN. APNs are not secret. Post it.

This service is shit. Whenever I try to make a call there is an incoming call and I can't receive or make the call.

Product works perfectly. I need to be able to get 2fa messages and call a US bank from anywhere in the world and this works perfectly. The US based number is really convenient. Great pricing and the one question I had for customer service was handled quickly and efficiently.

Slynumber is super easy to use—it definitely has the best interface of any other phone number app I've ever used. For anyone looking for a number from another country, it's definitely the best option.

Avoid this service. I paid $50 for an annual plan because SLYNUMBER advertises that their numbers are real, non-VoIP U.S. numbers that work with WhatsApp. The number they assigned me was immediately blocked by WhatsApp for security reasons. I contacted support, and they actually replied promising to give me a working replacement number. However, they never followed through. After that empty promise, they completely stopped responding to my emails and ghosted me. They took my money, provided a useless number, and lied about fixing it. Do not waste your money here

Customer service provided excellent advice and competent assistance. Truly appreciated Dee's willingness to assist.

The most important part is that it lives up to the advertising. For example, 2FA is advertised and works for the large American banks while many competitors lie about it. Customer service is with a live person who always responds clearly and honestly in usually less than 24 hours. The price is reasonable and competitive for a product that is superior to most competitors. Installation on my mobile phone in Mexico was simple. Basically, it does exactly what the advertising promises, at least for my needs.

Worst app ever. Nothing works. No customer support. A total piece of trash. Stay away from Slynumber.
