DELAYING REFUND AND NOT RESPONDING TO…

DELAYING REFUND AND NOT RESPONDING TO EMAILS Purchased 2 x sofa covers that unfortunately did not match the images online, so requested a return for full refund. Slashop delayed approving our refund and after following up twice, sent us an email offering a 50% refund on the purchase price if we opted to keep them instead. Given the covers were not cheap, and cost approx. $280 AUD each (sale price), I explained we were not going to keep anything we weren't happy with, as per their returns policy. Our return/refund was then approved. We have since followed Slashop's returns process, and our returned items/parcel were signed for as delivered 8 days ago. Slashop's returns process states they will email confirmation as soon as they receive your parcel, this has not occurred. I have been following Slashop up every other day since, and they are not responding to any of my emails - which are simply requesting they (1) confirm they have received the items, and (2) are progressing with the refund process. I am left with little option but to escalate to my bank and to warn others to NOT do business with this organisation. They promise easy and simple returns - and this not the case. They are not responding to emails, and there is no means other than email to contact them by. We are due a refund of approx. $560+ AUD, and I only wish I had looked at these reviews before purchasing from them. Hoping this review will make others think twice before buying anything from Slashop. EDITED TO ADD THE FOLLOWING: I can confirm the refund was finally processed, but the response below from SLA Shop is not truthful. It was only AFTER writing this review that SLA Shop finally responded to my numerous emails, and processed my refund. It is unfortunate that it took a negative review being published for them to respond and take any action. But it did indicate they can move quickly when they want to.

Your refund has already been processed, and a refund confirmation email was sent to you. Once a refund is completed on our end, the time required for the funds to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider’s processing time.
