SimplpensReviews of simplpens.com

I took advantage of the “today only” BOGO deal which is literally everyday and I want to say, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!! Both pens leak, write horribly while dripping ink and are a waste of money. Completely unusable.

I had placed an order on 27.May 2026 and haven’t still received it. The tracking is stuck on „in-transit“ since 4. June and when I requested feedback on this, the customer service said they’re looking into it on 14.June. Since then, I haven’t heard anything back despite repeated attempts. They’ve deducted the money but not delivered my order. I’m feeling cheated and very disappointed Edit: it’s July 12, still no news of the shipment. The customer service keeps sending me an automated response of they’re looking into the matter. I’ve explicitly requested a refund now as it’s been nearly two months since my order. They are frauds!

I really wanted to like these pens and support a smaller business, but after only about a week of use, I’ve had a very disappointing experience. The pens constantly loosen and unscrew during normal use, ink gets all over my hands even when I’m careful, and the finish/paint scratched off almost immediately. I also thought the caps were screw-on, but they are pull caps, which made me nervous for pocket carry from the start. Today the pen leaked ink into my pocket, destroying my favorite shorts, which pushed me over the edge. A fountain pen should not be leaking this badly at all. Customer support has also been frustrating. The company says they aim to respond within 24 hours, but they typically take a bit longer than that. I reached out this morning about a refund and haven't heard back yet but hopefully I don’t have to spend even more money on return shipping for pens that already caused these many issues. Unfortunately, this experience has made me decide I’ll be buying pens elsewhere in the future and will not be trying these again.

Worst pens in the world. I have THREE pens. They have sent me a new one when the one I received didn't work None of them work. I have just received the new "upgraded" version after waiting months and impossible to get the ink to flow. Scratchy and stops working after a few lines. Bad luck? I don't think so, I think they lack a good quality control.

Here’s an edit in response to Simplpens comment that I get in touch. No surprises - these scammers never responded to my message because they still owe me a refund. Do yourself a favour and filter the reviews here to 1 star. See the pattern - every review left in the last 2 weeks in negative, bent, leaky crap pens. At least 20 People saying pen didn’t arrive. Everyone unhappy with this junk. Simplpens shipped pen, and sent confusing and contradictory shipping info. It missed the delivery date and the birthday it was intended for. Simplpens apologised, they had ‘technical difficulties’ but expected me to keep the pen, I repeated my request to return it for a refund but they persevered, requesting I try it out as they felt I’d love it! Here’s my feedback for the Ventura pen - it’s not worth £30. IMO They blew their budget on ‘high end’ marketing and should have saved some money for the pens build and quality. The aluminium feels thin and likely to ‘dint’. The ink converter is lowest quality. The screw thread on the barrel is a little offline and this mean the pen isn’t perfectly straight. I found an Australian review on you tube that said exactly the same, suggesting their quality control is absent. The packaging is cheap. The logo in white in the centre makes the pen look cheap. So I’m returning the pen, and Simplpens are making me pay insured tracked international post to the US, so I’m $10 out of pocket for a pen, I really don’t want and arrived too late because of their admitted technical issues. I suggest readers of this review also check out other independent YouTube reviews.

I placed an order before Christmas as a gift, however, when it still hadn't arrived after 2 months I initiated a ticket with their customer support. After some runaround about the location of my order I was told that it was lost by the carrier and there was nothing they could do. Further, they could not provide a replacement for the products that were ordered due to stock shortage, and expected me to be satisfied paying for a different colourway. They did offer to include another pen (still not anything that matched my original order), but in the end a refund was issued because I was not satisfied with the resolution. Disappointing outcome as I was very interested in receiving this product for myself and the intended gift recipient.

They absolutely suck. I bought one and the nib was totally off, not aligned and scratchy. After sending a complaint they offered to send me another one. Surprise, suprise the other one was also faulty. Is it so difficult to check the pen before shipping? and especially to someone that has already received a faulty pen. They spend a lot on advertising but nothing on quality control. So now I have 2 steel bullets sitting on my desk.

Probably a good pen. However, I’ll never know as I paid for the product, but never received it. They told me to get a notice of loss from my courier, but they did not tell me which service they used…. USPS, FedEx , UPS . Smells of a scam. Buyer beware . Hopefully I can contest the transaction through my credit card. Customer device is that of email only, and not available on weekends. Primitive customer service
