The strength of Silverado is their caregivers. They are caring, kind, patient, and truly love the residents. They should be valued and supported more than they seem to be. The Engagement program (activities) is top notch for residents who can still cognitively participate. The program for residents who are more advanced is getting better. Silverado is expensive comparatively but leadership generally seems committed to creating a good living experience for your loved one.

No one does memory care better than Silverado.

We had an incident last week and is now the second time I've experienced this. The night staff (after 7pm) seem to be of less experience or not as attentive as we've come to appreciate from the day time staff. I had to ask for help with Elizabeth Stewart and was told by a worker that she could not help as she as 'assigned' to other residents that evening. I eventually found someone else that was willing to help.

Third residence we had my mother in law in. Far and away the best care. Expensive but top notch employees. The care they give is unmatched. Five stars.

There is no other facility in the metroplex that gives the exceptional care that Silverado does. We experienced a few places and interviewed many. One marketing director candidly let me know that “no one is Silverado” and I needed to adjust my standards if I wanted mom close by. No way. I would rather make the 50 mile drive each way and know she is receiving loving care than make it convenient for myself. I knew she would spend far more hours per week with staff than with family visits, even if she were close by... especially at night. Best decision we ever made for mom.
