SideshiftReviews of sideshift.app

My $1,141.65 withdrawal has been stuck on “In transit” since October 12, 2026, and I still haven't received my money. I've sent multiple emails and contacted support repeatedly, but all I get are automated AI responses. No human support agent has taken responsibility for my case, no bank transfer tracking reference has been provided, and nobody can tell me when I'll receive my money. I completed my work and earned this money. I should not have to chase a company for weeks just to get paid, with no real answers or accountability. This is extremely concerning. If a payment goes missing, customers deserve transparency and real support, not endless automated replies telling them to wait. I'm making this public because my attempts to resolve this privately have gone nowhere. I want my payment delivered and a clear explanation of what happened.

Good and easy-to-use website

I signed up for SideShift’s 14-day free trial and was genuinely excited. Being able to test a platform before committing seemed great. Looking back, the trial was just the hook. I spent hours messaging UGC creators and building out content guides so they knew exactly what to film. Then I found out you’re only allowed one active campaign, and SideShift essentially pre-builds it for you at signup. To create a campaign with my actual payment structure, I had to pay an extra $80. I paid it because I didn’t want to mislead any creators about how they’d be paid. I messaged support twice about this and never heard back. I kept going and found two creators who were a great fit. One filmed a full batch of videos. When I tried to approve them so the creator could get paid, the platform blocked me and said I needed to add funds. No problem, I thought. I had offered $40 per video plus a $25 commission per converted user, so two videos came to $80. But SideShift wouldn’t let me deposit anything less than $500. So within two weeks I was looking at $80 for the campaign, a $500 minimum deposit, and a $299 subscription charge coming due. Nearly $1,000, not because I chose to spend it, but because the platform forced it. I ended up messaging every creator I’d contacted to tell them I was leaving SideShift, then paid them directly through Zelle. They did the work and deserved to be paid. I wasn’t going to let them get burned because of this platform. On top of all that, you need paid credits to send applications and pay extra to message creators. Nearly every button costs more money. I understand they’re a newer company with kinks to work out, but they need to be upfront about what it actually costs to use the platform. Calling it a free trial while charging $80 here and $500 there is misleading. I would not recommend SideShift.

this app eat your money ,, scam confirm

avoid at all costs, they keep your card on file and charge it even after you delete your account with them, absolute scam, avoid at all costs.

I can't believe they charge money (subscription by the way) from both sides – a company and creators. The pricing is ridiculous. 300 USD per month for the company and a cherry on top – every new job post costs you additional 70 USD. Are you kidding me? Then why did I pay 300 USD in the first place? [clown emoji] The overall UI/UX is complicated. You might be accidentally charged more for videos that wasn't in your contract because their system links the creator's account and checks all the videos. So they wanted me to pay the creator for all her OLD 25 videos. I had to manually delete all her videos from my contract to avoid extra payments. They give 7 days of free trial but don't fall for that. You might wait even longer when the creator finishes the job. So you will be forced to pay a monthly fee. And the platform suggests you to pay a creator 15 USD per video. Feels like modern slavery. Yes, you can increase the price but it shows how they treat humans. Oh, did you know when you add money to your account (to secure the payment) they also get a cut? [clown emoji] UPDATE 1: WOW! If I want to withdraw my money back they also cut 3%. And to get money back I have to pass identity checks! What in the world this shady company is??? UPDATE 2: When you're trying to cancel the money withdrawal because you don't want to share your personal details with this shady company – they don't let you. In other words your money stuck somewhere in the middle. You can't use these money to hire creators and you can't withdraw them either. 100% SCAM! UPDATE 3: There is no support email. They have a button 'Start a conversation' that is not working. How amazing is that? This trash was vibe coded. I really hate it and will never come back. With such pricing policy I would love to watch their downfall.

I had a company account to work with creators on sideshift. I have never encountered a more greedy company in my life. Sideshift charges you 5% to send money into their wallet to pay to creators. Then, when you are taking money out, first they charge 3% to transfer from their "wallet" and then 2% to send to your bank account via ACH. I'm talking about the least costly option. I had an OK time finding creators. The main value sideshift provided was aggregated list of creators. But their money sucking approach, it made me feel burnt every time I had to do a transaction.

The app does not allow me to withdraw or receive my funds. Customer support has been extremely poor and unhelpful, with responses consisting only of emojis and no meaningful follow-up or resolution. Throughout this time, I have produced content without receiving any payment and feel that I have been completely scammed. I would strongly advise others to avoid this platform.
