Founded by Dr Adam Zvi Kawalek — a board-certified physician trained at Brown University, Mount Sinai, NYU Langone, Cedars-Sinai/UCLA, and Johns Hopkins — SickSlip was built to address a simple inefficiency in healthcare: people with minor illnesses often have to visit a clinic or hospital solely to obtain documentation for work, while already overburdened doctors and nurses spend valuable time handling routine absence paperwork.
