Bye Maud's
I'd been drinking their French Vanilla pods for years without issue. Then, I bought a 100-count box of pods in anticipation, as my current box of 100 only had about 30 remaining. I don't drink but one cup a day, but I like to not run out. Problem is that this new 100-count box had two pods in a row (and 3 out of 5) which had a manufacturing defect and caused much coffee grounds to spill into the cup. My partner has had no problem with her Bubbie's Breakfast Blend pods whatsoever, so it is exclusively a French Vanilla problem, and there are very likely more pods with the same problem that I haven't found in the 100-ct. box yet. ShopBlends.com refuses to ship even a small replacement because "it's been more than 30 days since the order was placed." That is friggin' bananas. My partner's been ordering us their coffee for *years* now, and they won't ship a small order of pods (like just a dozen would be fine) to replace their defective ones, for long-time customers now, because I didn't drink enough coffee every day to be able to figure out the problem with the order within *30 days*?!? Bye Maud's...been nice knowing you. Also, your new pod design SUCKS...the Recycle-a-Cup pod cutter doesn't work on it...thanks for ignoring both of my emails asking for clarification about it.
