This food is nasty as hel. They taste expired after the due date is next year. Got a weird taste in the mouth. The texture feels like foam and soap. They smell weird too. Nastiest cake. It’s be different if it was healthy. But it has ingredients linked to cancer , diabetes and organ failure and it also is disgusting in taste. Don’t eat it

Purchased a box of banana Moonpies which USED to be my favorite treat. I usually eat them out of the package so the crumbs won’t make a mess. The exp. date was several weeks away so of course I assumed they would be good. After taking a bite I noticed the awful taste. Took out of package and realized it was covered in moldy spots. Checked rest of the box and all of them were moldy. Some a lot worse than this one. Disgusting!! Company didn’t respond. Disappointing since this has been a favorite treat since I was a kid.

Hello, where did you buy your pies? We are MoonPie General Store and sell on our website and in our stores. We have not seen anything like what you are saying and have not recieved any messages about pies.
Why did you send an email to review my order? I STILL have not received my order.

Ordered a replacement Moonpie t shirt to replace one I purchased several years ago at the Moonpie store in Chattanooga; online it says it is made by Hanes as was the one I am replacing. Totally disappointed as the new shirt was some sort of cheap material that did not hold up through one washing - shrank about 1 size. And, it was not made by Hanes, no indication anywhere as to mfg. information. Totally disappointed, and I ordered two other shirts, too. My bad, yet shame on Moonpie for selling inferior products at way high prices. I don't mind paying for the nostalgia, just sell a quality product like you did with my original purchases several years ago.

Hi Tom So sorry for your experience. We couldn't find your order on moonpie.com, could you give us your order number so we can see what the shirts were? Also, we don't put who our shirts are made by on our site but they are mostly made by Gildan Supersoft 100% cotton and are pre shrunk. The rest are made by Bella Canvas 50/50 cotton/poly blend and are also pre shrunk. If you could give us more information, we can look into what you received.
